Deputy Inspector General of the Philippine Army Visits Three Red Arrows Brigade

Brgy. Matalin, Malabang, Lanao del Sur – The 101st Infantry (Three Red Arrows) Brigade, led by Brigadier General Yasser R. Bara, Commander warmly welcomed Colonel Rolando D. Orengo, Deputy, The Inspector General, Philippine Army, and his party during their visit to the Brigade Headquarters on July 15, 2026. The visit was part of the Philippine Army's Annual General Inspection.

Upon his arrival, Col. Orengo was introduced to the Brigade and OPCON Officers and personnel. He also signed the visitors' logbook to mark his official visit.

During the visit, Col. Orengo received a unit briefing on the Brigade's current security situation, ongoing operations, and other significant accomplishments. His team also met with the troops to hear their concerns and discuss matters related to the service. They also thanked the Officers and personnel for their dedication, professionalism, and commitment to maintaining peace and security in the area.

The visit highlights the Philippine Army's commitment to ensuring that its units remain mission-ready while promoting the welfare and well-being of its personnel.

Malugod na tinatanggap ng 101st Infantry (Three Red Arrows) Brigade ang mga bagong opisyal at enlisted personnel na magiging kabahagi sa pagpapatuloy ng aming misyon. Kasabay nito, buong-pusong pagpupugay kay MSg Ruel R. Empalmado (Inf) PA sa kanyang huwarang pamumuno, dedikasyon, at hindi matatawarang paglilingkod sa yunit.

Sa bawat hamon, nananatiling gabay ang ating pagkakaisa, disiplina, at katapatan sa tungkulin. Sama-sama nating ipagpapatuloy ang marangal na tradisyon ng Three Red Arrows Brigade—matatag, handa, at laging naglilingkod para sa bayan.

Sa paggunita ng ika-10 anibersaryo ng 2016 West Philippine Sea Arbitral Ruling, muli nating pinagtitibay ang ating sama-samang paninindigan para sa karapatan, soberanya, at mapayapang kinabukasan ng ating bansa.

Patuloy nating isabuhay ang diwa ng katapatan sa tungkulin, pagmamahal sa bayan, at pangangalaga sa ating pambansang interes para sa susunod na henerasyon.

101st Infantry Brigade Welcomes Newly Assigned Brigade Officers and Enlisted Personnel, Honors Outgoing Brigade Sergeant Major

Brgy. Matalin, Malabang, Lanao del Sur – The 101st Infantry (Three Red Arrows) Brigade, led by BGEN YASSER R BARA PA, Brigade Commander, together with the Brigade Staff Officers, OPCON units, and Enlisted Personnel, conducted its Monday Flag Raising Ceremony on July 6, 2026, at the Brigade Headquarters.

During the ceremony, the Brigade formally welcomed two (2) newly assigned officers and two (2) newly assigned enlisted personnel. The new officers are COL DANILO G AMBE INF (MNSA) PA, the new Deputy Brigade Commander, and CPT ALJANE M ACURAM (INF) PA, the new Brigade Operations Officer. The newly assigned enlisted personnel are SSG Gilmar O Guinea (Inf) PA and SSG Bernadette G Sales (AGS) PA.

As part of the welcoming rites, BGEN Bara personally pinned the 101st Infantry (Three Red Arrows) Brigade unit patch on the newly assigned personnel, symbolizing their official integration into the Brigade and their commitment to uphold its mission, traditions, and values. The Brigade warmly welcomed them as they begin their new assignments.

The ceremony also honored MSg Ruel R Empalmado (Inf) PA, the outgoing Brigade Sergeant Major, for his dedicated service and significant contributions to the unit. In recognition of his commitment and unwavering support to the Brigade's mission, he was awarded the Military Merit Medal and a Plaque of Appreciation.

In his farewell message, MSg Empalmado expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the officers and enlisted personnel for their cooperation, trust, and unity throughout his tenure. He thanked everyone for the opportunity to serve as the Brigade Sergeant Major and described the Brigade as his family.

In his remarks, BGEN Bara welcomed the newly assigned personnel and encouraged them to perform their duties with dedication, professionalism, and integrity. He also expressed his appreciation to MSg Empalmado for his loyal service, exemplary leadership, and steadfast commitment to the Brigade, and wished him continued success in his future assignment.

Three Red Arrows Brigade Participates in the 10th Anniversary of West Philippine Sea Arbitral Ruling

Brgy. Matalin, Malabang, Lanao del Sur – The 101st Infantry (Three Red Arrows) Brigade, led by BGEN YASSER R BARA PA, Commander, together with Brigade Staff Officers, OPCON units, and enlisted personnel, held a Simultaneous Flag Raising Ceremony on July 6, 2026, at the Brigade Headquarters to commemorate the 10th Anniversary of the 2016 Arbitral Ruling on the West Philippine Sea.

During the ceremony, the Brigade presented the new Audio-Visual Presentation (AVP) of the Philippine National Anthem, followed by an AVP highlighting key information about the West Philippine Sea.

BGen Bara also delivered the message of the Chief of Staff, Armed Forces of the Philippines (CSAFP), emphasizing that the 2016 Arbitral Ruling reaffirmed the Philippines' rights in the West Philippine Sea under international law. The message encouraged all personnel to remain steadfast in protecting the country's maritime domain through professionalism, discipline, and a commitment to the peaceful resolution of disputes.

The CSAFP also highlighted the theme, "Our Seas, Our Rights, Our Future," urging every soldier to continue safeguarding the nation's sovereignty, promoting peace and stability, and protecting the future of every Filipino.

The ceremony concluded with a renewed commitment from all personnel to faithfully perform their duties in defending the country's interests and serving the Filipino people with honor, dedication, and patriotism.

Mula sa pagkatuto ng kasaysayan at kultura hanggang sa pagpapalakas ng disiplina, pamumuno, at pagkakaisa—ang Lakbay Aral 2026 ay naging makabuluhang karanasan para sa kabataang mula sa 2nd District ng Lanao del Sur.

Sa pangunguna ng 101st Infantry (Three Red Arrows) Brigade, katuwang ang Bangsamoro Government at Provincial Government of Lanao del Sur, patuloy nating hinuhubog ang mga kabataang magiging katuwang sa pagtataguyod ng kapayapaan, pagkakaisa, at kaunlaran ng Bangsamoro at ng ating bansa.

Ang kabataan ngayon ang pag-asa at lider ng mas mapayapang kinabukasan.
