The school was formally established on April 09, 2010, through the joint effort of Local Government Officials, particularly the Barangay Council of Brgy. Acacia National High School is located in Flerida St., corner Kapitan Tiago St., Brgy. The school is relatively 2.14 km from the city main district where the city hall is located. The nearest public elementary school (Acacia Elementary School) is
the only one around the block while the nearest public high school (Tinajeros National High School) is about half a kilometer away. Within the barangay, the nearest private school (Higher Ground Baptist Academy Inc.) offers both elementary and high school is 0.14 meters away. Barangay Acacia shows the least number of crime incidents in the city and is situated in the elevated part of Malabon hence flooding incidents occur only in times of very strong typhoon. Last March 29, 2019, under R.A 11254 Tinajeros National High School – Acacia Annex was converted into an independent national high school for which will be known as Acacia National High School. The school’s independence was done under the leadership of Mrs. Mary Ann R. Dy, Assistant Principal, and was made possible by our Local Government Official Hon. Soledad Trinidad, former faculty president Mrs. Remedios Buenaventura and our GPTA President Mrs. Marlene Asuncion through the efforts of our former Congressman Federico “Ricky” S.
