Kahandaan Ngayon, Kaligtasan Habambuhay!

Nakiisa ang Tingog Partylist Malabon sa isinagawang Second Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) ngayong Hunyo 18, 2026 bilang suporta sa patuloy na pagpapalakas ng kahandaan ng komunidad sa panahon ng lindol at iba pang sakuna.

Sa pamamagitan ng aktibong pakikilahok sa drill at pagsunod sa tamang emergency procedures gaya ng Duck, Cover, and Hold, mas napapalakas natin ang kakayahan ng bawat isa na tumugon nang maayos sa oras ng panganib.

Ang paghahanda ay hindi lamang responsibilidad ng pamahalaan kundi ng buong komunidad. Sama-sama nating itaguyod ang kultura ng kahandaan upang mapanatiling ligtas ang bawat pamilyang Malabueño.

Tingog Party List joined returning and displaced overseas Filipino workers during the National Reintegration Network Regional Fair and Kumustahan, where 220 OFWs received assistance through livelihood and employment programs designed to support their transition back home.

Andrew Julian Romualdez sponsored House Bill No. 9029, a measure that will establish the University of the Philippines (UP) National Climate Resilience Institute and strengthen the country’s capacity for climate research, disaster preparedness, and evidence-based policymaking.

As one of the world’s most climate-vulnerable nations, we need more than resilience. We need innovation, foresight, and institutions built for the future. Climate action must be our generation’s game plan. 🇵🇭

Standing before higher education leaders, educators, and stakeholders at the 32nd CHED Anniversary Strategic Partnership Convergence, I was reminded that education is ultimately about people—the dreams of students, the sacrifices of families, and the future of our nation.

As Chairperson of the House Committee on Higher and Technical Education, I joined CHED, under the leadership of Dr. Shirley C. Agrupis, in advancing a shared vision of accessible, quality, and future-ready higher education for every Filipino learner.

As your partner in Congress, I give you this commitment: we will not allow these reforms to remain only as speeches, plans, or promises. We will continue to champion the laws, secure the investments, exercise the oversight, and pursue the partnerships needed to move Philippine higher education forward.

We will work to ensure that every peso entrusted to education is released, implemented, and felt where it matters most: in the lives of learners, in the growth of institutions, in the support given to teachers and researchers, and in the opportunities opened for Filipino families.

When higher education rises, the Filipino learner rises. When the Filipino learner rises, the Filipino family rises. And when Filipino families rise, the whole nation rises with them. 🇵🇭📚

Kasunod ng malakas na lindol na tumama sa General Santos City at Sarangani ngayong araw, agad na nagsagawa ng quick response operations ang TINGOG Party-list Mindanao Team upang matugunan ang pangangailangan ng ating mga kababayan.

Patuloy ang pamamahagi ng ready-to-eat meals para sa mga pamilyang naapektuhan habang nananatiling limitado ang access sa ilang lugar dahil sa pagkawala ng kuryente, mahinang signal, at kakulangan ng malinis na inuming tubig. Marami rin ang nagtutungo sa mga bukas na tindahan at gasolinahan upang makakuha ng mga pangunahing pangangailangan.

Nakaantabay at naka-deploy ang ating mga team sa mga apektadong komunidad upang maghatid ng agarang tulong at masusing subaybayan ang sitwasyon. Sa panahon ng sakuna, mahalaga ang mabilis na pagkilos, pagkakaisa, at malasakit para sa ating mga kababayan.

Patuloy tayong magtulungan, magbantay, at manalangin para sa kaligtasan at kapakanan ng bawat isa.
