📍 Kini nga bag-ong water rates ug mga pamaagi ipatuman lamang sa mga consumers nga nasakop sa Bag-ong Malabuyoc Water System, nga naglangkob sa mosunod nga mga barangay:

💧 Brgy. Montañeza
💧 Brgy. Poblacion Uno
💧 Brgy. Poblacion Dos
💧 Brgy. Sto. Niño
💧 Brgy. Looc

Ang ubang mga barangay nga wala pa masakop sa Bag-ong Water System magpadayon sa daang water rates hangtod sa sunod nga pahibalo.

Palihug basaha ug sunda ang mga gi-update nga water rates, connection fees, ug mga lagda sa pagbayad aron malikayan ang surcharge ug pagkaputol sa serbisyo.

𝐂𝐎𝐀𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐋 𝐂𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐍𝐔𝐏 𝐃𝐑𝐈𝐕𝐄

In celebration of National Disaster Resilience Month, the Municipality of Malabuyoc conducted a simultaneous Coastal Clean-Up Drive along the coastal barangays from Barangay Montañeza to Barangay Looc.

The activity was spearheaded by the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) headed by Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Officer Crystal Escalicas, with the participation of Barangay Officials and workers, the Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Philippine Coast Guard, and other stakeholders.

This initiative underscores the municipality's commitment to environmental protection, disaster preparedness, and community resilience through collective action in keeping our shorelines clean and safe.

Together, we build a cleaner coastline and a more disaster-resilient Malabuyoc.

It's incredible to think nga duha pa lang ka buwan ang milabay, when we witnessed a left-handed middle blocker Jojie Obeñita proudly represent her hometown of Malabuyoc in the Calderon Cup 21-Under Girls Volleyball Tournament.

Karon, she takes the next step in her volleyball journey after earning an opportunity with National University (NU), carrying with her not only the pride of the Seventh District, but the entire Province of Cebu.

Mao gyud ni ang vision ni Cong Patsy Calderon para sa CALDERON CUP.

More than just a tournament, the Calderon Cup was created to give young athletes from the Seventh District a platform to compete, develop their skills, and most importantly, ma-expose ug ma-discover. Ang tumong dili lang kay makadaog og championship, but to create opportunities that can lead to scholarships, higher-level competition, and brighter futures.

From the volleyball courts of Malabuyoc to earning the attention of one of the country's premier volleyball programs, Jojie is living proof nga kung tagaan og higayon ang talento, adunay kaugmaon nga naghulat.

Proud kaayo ang Calderon Cup nga nahimong kabahin sa iyang journey. Hinaut nga si Jojie mao pa lamang ang una sa daghang mga kabataang atleta sa Seventh District nga matuman ang ilang mga damgo pinaagi sa maong torneo.

Nagbunga na ang Calderon Cup. AND THIS IS JUST the BEGINNING.

Mayor Erlinda "Edang" Piedad joined 7th District Congressman, Dr. Patricia "Patsy" Calderon alongside fellow local chief executives and district leaders of Cebu's Seventh District during the opening of the Second Regular Session of the 20th Congress and support as the nation marked the 2026 State of the Nation Address.

Kini usa ka higayon sa pagpalig-on sa panaghiusa sa mga lider sa Septimo Distrito, nga nagkahiusa sa tumong nga mapadayon ang matinud-anong pagpangalagad ug ang pagdala og mas epektibong serbisyo ngadto sa matag komunidad.

Earlier this month, Mayor Erlinda "Edang" Piedad personally led the annual mandatory drug testing of the officials and employees of the Local Government Unit of Malabuyoc, reaffirming the municipality's commitment to a drug-free, transparent, and accountable public service.

The drug testing was conducted by B KRUS Laboratory, ensuring that the activity was carried out in accordance with established standards and procedures. This annual initiative forms part of the LGU's continuing efforts to uphold integrity, professionalism, and accountability among its workforce.

By taking the lead in this important activity, Mayor Edang underscored the value of leading by example and fostering a culture of responsibility in public service. The Municipality of Malabuyoc remains steadfast in supporting the government's campaign against illegal drugs while promoting a safe, healthy, and productive workplace for all.

A drug-free workforce is a cornerstone of trustworthy, efficient, and people-centered governance.
