In a separate drug bust operation conducted yesterday, June 6, 2025, the Zamboanga Sibugay Provincial Police Office apprehended three individuals for violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, seizing a total of PHP34,544.00 worth of suspected shabu and drug paraphernalia.
SDET of Ipil MPS conducted a drug-bust operation at Purok Masigla, Barangay Poblacion, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay that resulted in the arrest of an adult male. The suspect was caught in possession of 1.25 grams and an SDP value of Php 8,500.00
Another operation took place in Purok Recodo, Poblacion, Titay ZSP, conducted by PDEU-ZSB in coordination with PIU-ZSB, 2nd PMFC, and Titay MPS, which resulted in the arrest of an adult male, a newly identified street-level individual, confiscating from his possession 3 grams of suspected shabu with a standard drug price of Php20,400.00
In a separate operation conducted by SDET of RT Lim MPS at Purok Tandang Sora, Brgy Tupilac, RT Lim, an adult male was apprehended, a newly identified street-level individual. Seized from his possession were 0.83 grams of suspected shabu with a standard drug price of Php5,644.00.
The arrested individuals are currently under the concerned Municipal Police Stations, while the confiscated substances were turned over to the Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) for examination.
