🚨 QUARTER 1 EARTHQUAKE DRILL 2026: Preparedness Saves Lives! 🚨

Situated along the volatile Pacific Ring of Fire, the Philippines is highly vulnerable to sudden earthquakes. We cannot predict when the ground will shake, which is why active preparation is our strongest defense! 🌍⚡

Last March 12, 2026, at exactly 3:00 PM, the learners, teachers, and admin personnel of San Julian National High School actively participated in the Quarter 1 Earthquake Drill.

This quarter's powerful theme is: "Duck, Cover, and Hold: Gawin Dapat, Pero Hindi Sapat." This reminds us that while mastering the basics is crucial, true safety requires a constant, proactive culture of preparedness across all schools, government agencies, and offices. It's about knowing your evacuation routes, securing hazards, and having a plan before disaster strikes.

A massive kudos to the entire SJNHS community for treating this drill with the seriousness it deserves. Your cooperation makes our school a safer place for everyone! 🏫💪

Stay alert, stay safe, and always be ready!

Spotlight on Literacy: District Evaluators Visit San Julian National High School!

Because reading is the undeniable foundation of all learning, San Julian National High School proudly opened its doors on March 4, 2026, for a crucial educational milestone. The school was honored to be the visited site for the Malasiqui District II-A Oral Reading Assessment, specifically evaluating the progress of learners in Grades 7, 10, and 12.

The visiting evaluation team was spearheaded by the passionate Public Schools District Supervisor, Dr. Mary Joy C. Agsalon, accompanied by a dedicated delegation of district Secondary School Heads, Master Teachers, and Head Teachers. Their on-site visit underscored a shared, district-wide mission: to elevate reading comprehension and fluency as the ultimate keys to unlocking a learner's full potential.

Ready to welcome the evaluators was San Julian’s own dynamic School Head, Dr. Lamberto Ferrer Jr., who fostered an environment of warmth and readiness. Ensuring the learners were prepared to confidently showcase their reading abilities was a true collaborative effort:

• The Literacy Champions: The English and Filipino Reading Coordinators, working hand-in-hand with the devoted advisers of Grades 7, 10, and 12, poured their energy into guiding the students leading up to the assessment.

• The Unified Support: Standing firmly behind these preparations was the entire San Julian NHS faculty, serving as a united pillar of encouragement and logistical support throughout the visit.

The visit from Dr. Agsalon and the district educators was more than just a routine evaluation—it was a powerful reminder that when a school community unites to prioritize reading, they empower the voices of the future.

Congratulations to our brave learner readers! 🌟
