Pamaranum Elementary School — Despite Habagat and the suspension of face-to-face classes, learning continues at home.

Pursuant to DepEd Order No. 23, s.2015, Pamaranum Elementary School, with the help of SELG Officers, conducted school watching and hazard mapping to raise awareness and find hazardous areas inside the school premises. After a profound orientation on what the School Watching Team needs to do, last July 29, 2026, the SWT was given a checklist and a route plan.
The SWT noted some repairs on broken windows in each classroom and unfinished ceilings. They also stated that a fractured school fence and a dangerous slippery pathway during the rainy season need immediate action. After the activity, the whole SWT created a School Hazard Map and presented it to the SPT last August 13, 2026. The SWT specified their recommendations for improving the school.
The only issue in implementing the following recommendations would be the need for more budget, knowing that our place is a small barangay.

Active Threat Drill
Pamaranum Elementary School
Pamaranum Elementary School successfully conducted an Active Threat Drill to enhance the preparedness of learners, teachers, and school personnel during emergency situations.
Upon hearing the alarm, teachers immediately secured their classrooms and guided learners to remain calm, stay silent, and move to designated safe areas. The School Emergency Response Team monitored the activity and ensured that safety procedures were followed.
After the "All Clear" signal was given, teachers accounted for all learners, and a brief evaluation was conducted. The drill was completed successfully and helped strengthen the school's emergency preparedness and safety awareness.

Caring for Learners’ Health and Wellness!

DepEd Tayo Pamaranum ES 101574 warmly welcomed District Nurse Jonathan Acain Mamayson during his visit to support the health and well-being of our pupils.

He provided tools for height measurement and eye screening, distributed soaps to promote proper hygiene, and checked the school canteen’s sanitation to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all.

His presence reminded our learners that their health truly matters. At Pamaranum ES, we believe that children learn best when they are healthy and cared for.
