The Office of the Municipal Mayor would like to recognize and commend the honesty and civic-mindedness of Mr. Ray Viray, a resident of Brgy. Warey, Malasiqui, Pangasinan.

Earlier today, June 3, 2026, at approximately 3:00 PM, Mr. Viray found a mobile phone and an ATM card on the bridge in Brgy. Barang, Malasiqui, Pangasinan. Demonstrating integrity and concern for others, he immediately turned over the items to the Office of the Municipal Mayor to help ensure that they are safely returned to their rightful owner.

The Office of the Municipal Mayor is currently seeking the owner of the recovered items. If you are the owner or know the owner, please visit our office for proper verification and claiming.

The Municipality of Malasiqui warmly acknowledges the courtesy call and information dissemination/cascade conducted by representatives from the Philippine National Police (PNP) and its partner units regarding Protective Security Detail (PSD) and related security protocols.

Ipinababatid sa publiko na nagsagawa ng pagbisita at inspeksyon ang Municipal Engineering Office sa Pampublikong Palengke ng Malasiqui bilang tugon sa mga ulat ng pagtulo ng tubig sa ilang bahagi ng gusali tuwing may malakas na pag-ulan.

Batay sa isinagawang inspeksyon, napag-alaman na ang pagbara ng mga tubo at downspouts dulot ng naipong basura, dahon, at iba pang debris ang pangunahing sanhi ng hindi maayos na pagdaloy ng tubig-ulan, na nagresulta sa pagtagas nito sa loob ng palengke.

Kaugnay nito, agad na nagsagawa ng mga kinakailangang hakbang ang Municipal Engineering Office upang linisin at maalis ang mga bara sa drainage system ng gusali.

Today, May 27, 2026, Barangay Bacundao East celebrated another milestone through the Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony of the newly built Multipurpose Building, a project dedicated to strengthening community development and enhancing public service delivery for the residents of the barangay.

This project became possible through the support and leadership of the Local Government Unit of Malasiqui under Municipal Mayor Hon. Alfe M. Soriano, together with the Sangguniang Bayan of Malasiqui headed by Municipal Vice-Mayor Hon. Daria Dolores M. Mamaril, in partnership with the Barangay Officials of Barangay Bacundao East led by Brgy. Captain Laudencio Moyano.

Present during the ceremony were Municipal Mayor Hon. Alfe M. Soriano, Councilor Vincent Nathaniel Arenas, Councilor Jessica Gueco, Councilor Norman Espinoza, Councilor Janice Pinlac, Brgy. Captain Laudencio Moyano together with the Barangay Officials, representatives from Malasiqui Pastors in Action, as well as the Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) and Barangay Population Workers (BPWs).

In line with the celebration, a Medical Mission was also conducted during the ribbon-cutting activity to provide essential healthcare services to the residents of Barangay Bacundao East, further highlighting the commitment of the local government and partner groups in promoting the health and well-being of the community.

The successful implementation of the project and the conduct of the medical mission were made possible through the collective efforts, dedication, and cooperation of the local officials, healthcare workers, partner organizations, and the residents of the barangay.

May this newly inaugurated multipurpose building continue to serve as a center for community programs, services, and activities that will benefit the people of Barangay Bacundao East for years to come.

Where there is unity, there is progress; together, communities grow stronger, achieve development, and celebrate success.
