𝐍𝐞𝐠𝐨𝐬𝐲𝐨 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐍𝐞𝐠𝐨𝐬𝐲𝐨 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝐘𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐤, 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐲, 𝐀𝐤𝐥𝐚𝐧

The Department of Trade and Industry Aklan Provincial Office (DTI Aklan), through Negosyo Center Malay, in partnership with the Local Government Unit of Malay headed by Hon. Frolibar S. Bautista and the Barangay Council of Yapak headed by Hon. Hector A. Casidsid, conducted a Negosyo Center Information Caravan for the MSMEs and aspiring entrepreneurs of Barangay Yapak, Malay, Aklan on May 22, 2026.

The activity officially opened with a welcome message from Ms. Gerlie S. Solano, Sanggunihang Barangay, who conveyed her heartfelt gratitude to all participating MSMEs for their presence and active participation despite the short notice, acknowledging their continued cooperation and support in making the activity a success.

Partner agencies likewise presented their programs and services geared toward MSME development. These included the Municipal Agricultural Office, represented by Mr. Victorio De Joseph, Jr. and the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), represented by Mr. Rioby T. Eusoya, Revenue Collecting Officer II.

Meanwhile, Ms. Judy Ann B. Rendon, NC TIDS, provided an overview of the DTI and Negosyo Center (NC) programs and services as well as discussed Consumer Rights and Responsibilities and other Fair Trade Laws, while Mr. Ariel Taburda, presented financing opportunities for MSMEs through the Small Business Corporation.

The NC-IC is a program of the DTI that aims to increase public awareness of the services offered by the DTI through Negosyo Centers and partner agencies, identify MSMEs operating within the barangay, and provide business development assistance and services in the community.

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 114, series of 2026, entitled "Directing All Government Agencies and Instrumentalities to Strictly Adopt Energy Conservation Protocols," issued by the Office of the President on March 6, 2026, this is to inform the public that the DTI Aklan Provincial Office and Negosyo Centers will be observing Work-From-Home (WFH) Fridays.
The new office schedule, effective MARCH 13, 2026 is as follows:
🏦 ONSITE OPERATIONS (Monday to Thursday)
DTI Aklan Provincial Office and Negosyo Centers will be open during regular office hours, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, for all walk-in transactions and frontline services.

IN PHOTOS | DTI-AKLAN CONDUCTS REGULAR MONITORING OF BASIC NECESSITIES AND PRIME COMMODITIES (BNPC)
The Department of Trade and Industry Aklan Provincial Office continues its regular monitoring of Basic Necessities and Prime Commodities (BNPCs) in 17 supermarkets and grocery stores in the municipality of Kalibo.
On the other hand, a total of 61 grocery stores and supermarkets are being monitored outside Kalibo and within the province of Aklan.
The monitoring activity is being conducted to ensure that establishments are compliant to the Suggested Retail Price (SRP) and that essential goods are readily available to the general consumers at affordable prices.
