The Coast Guard District Western Visayas (CGDWV) under the leadership of Commodore Ludovico D Librilla Jr PCG extends its warmest greetings and heartfelt solidarity to our Muslim brothers and sisters as they observe the holy month of Ramadan.

CGDWV joins the entire Muslim community in honoring this sacred time of prayer, fasting, reflection, and spiritual renewal.

π‹πŽπŽπŠ: Coast Guard Substation Kalibo, together with CGSS Dumaguit, CGSS Numancia, CGSS Tangalan and BFP Kalibo conducted a coastal clean-up activity at Jetty Port, Brgy. Pook Kalibo,Aklan today, 31 January 2026.

The activity successfully collected an estimated 17 sacks, 200 kilograms of assorted waste, such as plastic bottle caps, empty bottles, and other non-biodegradable garbage, along the 1.5-kilometer stretch of wetland. The collected waste was then carefully sorted for proper identification and disposal.
