The Malay National High School Disaster Risk Reduction Management (DRRM) Team is officially opening slots for the Rescue Camp Qualifiers Training!

If you have what it takes to save lives and serve our community, we want you on the team!

📌 QUALIFICATIONS:

• Grade Level: Grades 7 to 11
• Skills: Must know how to swim 🏊‍♂️
• Traits: Fully committed, disciplined, and diligent 🫡
• Health: No existing medical issues 💪
• Conduct: No bad behavioral records 📋

🛠️ WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) ❤️
• Standard First Aid (SFA) 🩹
• Knot Tying & Ropes 🪢
• ...and other essential survival and rescue skills!

👕 WHAT TO WEAR:

• Wear your School PE Uniform or any comfortable attire suitable for physical training and movement.

• When: Tomorrow, 8:00 AM

The School Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Team (SDRRMT) of Malay National High School successfully conducted a tree-planting activity within the school premises today, August 20, 2026. This initiative is in compliance with Division Memorandum No. 449, s. 2026, issued by the DepEd Schools Division of Aklan for the 2026 Arbor Day Celebration. Through this activity, Malay NHS remains committed to supporting environmental protection and sustainability across the entire Province of Aklan.

The SDRRMT and Malay NHS Red Cross Youth joined forces today to keep the Intramurals Opening Ceremony safe and smooth. While the crowd watched the main event, this team was alert and ready behind the scenes. Another successful deployment in the books—proud of everyone's dedication today! 🙌❤️

As a fitting acknowledgment of their hard work, discipline, skill, and dedication, the team was bestowed with their well-deserved 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘁 during this ceremony. The Malay National High School School Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Team (SDRRMT) is now officially recruiting new members! 𝐃𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝- we don't just train for big emergencies, 𝘸𝘦 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘴𝘢𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘴 𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘵, 𝘮𝘰𝘴𝘵 𝘮𝘦𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘧𝘶𝘭 𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴: from helping a classmate feel safe during a drill, responding calmly to small accidents, to knowing exactly what to do when it matters most.
