The Statement of Assets, Liabilities, and Net Worth (SALN) Review and Compliance Committee convened today, March 27, 2024, at the University Board Room to assess adherence to SALN requirements and ensure timely, complete, and accurate submissions.

In attendance were Ms. Rosanna S. Generato, Chairperson; Ms. Wilma L. Gregory, Vice Chairperson; Ms. Katherine Lou P. Bandas; and Dr. Xyle Fe A. Verbal as members. Also present was Ms. Krizzia G. Pardo, Processing In-charge. Compliance with SALN submissions is crucial, serving as a determinant for entitlement to the Performance-Based Bonus, as stipulated in the Inter-Agency Task Force on the Harmonization of National Government Performance Monitoring, Information, and Reporting Systems Memorandum Circular No. 2023-001.

October 13, 2023- The Procurement Unit convened for its quarterly meeting, which was presided over by the Head of BAC Secretariat, Mr Leonard Danao. One of the significant highlights of the meeting was the monitoring of ongoing procurement projects.
The meeting was attended by Chief Administrative Officer Rosanna S. Generato, Supervising Administrative Officer Dr. Rea Rita R. Muegue, Administrative Officer V Jandelle Claire Aplaca, and staff of the Procurement Unit.

An Infrastructure Progress Meeting was conducted to provide an update on the status of various ongoing infrastructure projects across the university’s campuses.
The project in-charges from the Project Management Unit presented detailed reports. These included updates on project progress, quality control, safety protocols, scheduling timelines, and challenges faced.
The active participation of all attendees and their constructive engagement during the meeting demonstrated their commitment to a successful implementation of these infrastructure projects.

ORIENTATION MEETING ON GOVERNMENT ENERGY MANAGEMENT PROGRAM (GEMP) ONLINE SUBMISSION SYSTEM

On July 19, 2023, the Office of the Vice President for Administration and Finance (VPAF) conducted an orientation meeting on the GEMP Online Submission System compliance requirements at the Audio Visual Center, 2nd Floor, College of Public Administration and Governance Building, Bukidnon State University.

The meeting aimed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the GEMP, its goals, and requirements, and to discuss the roles and responsibilities of concerned offices/units and personnel in implementing the program.

Championing the event was Mr. Dante S. Victoria, Jr, VPAF, who has been designated as the Energy Efficiency and Conservation (EEC) Officer of the university. Also present during the meeting was the Alternate EEC Officer, Ms. Rosanna S. Generato, the Chief Administrative Officer, Engr. Jason A. Un, and the EEC Focal Person of the Main Campus, Annex Campus, and BukSU Hotel Laboratory, Ms Gelain Litanon, Technical Writer/ staff member of the Office of the Chief Administrative Officer.

This initiative aims to gather detailed information on the specifications, usage, condition, and maintenance history of each asset, ensuring efficient energy management and maintenance planning.

During the meeting, Ms. Gelain Litanon, as the designated presenter, emphasized the importance of conducting an inventory and introduced the prescribed templates to be used.

The inventory will enable the university to track and manage its assets effectively, allowing for better decision-making in terms of energy consumption and asset maintenance.

Attendees included Dr. Chaseur Leo Vann Ontolan, Department Head of the Administrative and Finance Management Staff, Dr. Albert A. Villanca, Director for Satellite Campuses, Mr. Donald Donasco, ICT Officer, Ms. Kristine Fivi O. Gewan, Mr. Silverio Montales, Jr., Engr. Lyn M. Remo, Mr. Emmanuel Barroso, and Marlon Olila, Heads of the General Services Unit, Supply and Property Management Unit, Building and Estates, and Property Management designate, and Technical Writer, respectively.
