The Planning and Development Unit actively participated in the 2026 Women’s Health Symposium entitled “Kalusugan ng Kababaihan: Kaalaman, Karapatan, at Kalinga.” The activity provided an important platform for the unit to engage in discussions on women’s health, rights, and access to care.

📍UNIT UPDATE

The BukSU Planning and Development Unit successfully facilitated the Operational Planning and Workshop for Satellite Campuses last March 3–4, 2026 at Loghouse 28 Mountain Resort, Kitaotao, Bukidnon.

For two productive days, university officials, Satellite Campus-in-Charge, selected unit heads, and other key personnel came together to align targets, refine operational priorities, harmonize performance indicators, and ensure that institutional goals translate into clear, measurable, and achievable campus-level action plans. The active participation of each Satellite Campus ensured that strategies were grounded in their unique contexts while remaining fully aligned with the University’s strategic direction.

Through evidence-based planning sessions, collaborative workshops, and a strong culture of shared accountability, the satellite campuses and campus leaders demonstrated unified direction and collective ownership in advancing BukSU’s 2026 Operational Roadmap.

📌UNIT UPDATE

The BukSU Planning and Development Unit successfully facilitated the University’s five-day Performance Evaluation for 2025, on January 19-23, 2026, with the participation of all BukSU delivery units and the Performance Management Team (PMT).

During the activity, each delivery unit presented its actual accomplishments for the second rating period, which were evaluated and rated by the PMT based on verified documentary evidence submitted, in accordance with the established Strategic Performance Management System (SPMS) Rating Scale. The process ensured objectivity, consistency, and adherence to performance management standards across all units.

Beyond assessment, the evaluation served as a Journey of Learning, providing a structured space for reflection, shared understanding, and continuous improvement. The PMT offered valuable observations and recommendations, particularly on documentation completeness, output–target alignment, and indicator compliance. These insights are set to be formally addressed by the concerned units, creating Opportunities to Thrive through strengthened systems, improved reporting practices, and enhanced implementation quality.

Overall, the successful conduct of the evaluation highlights BukSU’s strong commitment to outcomes-based management, transparency, and continuous institutional improvement. By fostering accountability, evidence-based decision-making, and performance excellence, the activity contributes to Yielding Leaders who are capable of advancing institutional goals and sustaining strategic performance across the University.

In this regard, the Planning and Development Unit extends its sincere appreciation to the Performance Management Team and all BukSU delivery units for their active participation, professionalism, and cooperation, which were instrumental in the success of this vital institutional undertaking.
