Following the heavy rainfall yesterday, the spillway at Purok Maranhug, Miglamin, Malaybalay City sustained damage, making it inaccessible to the public and causing inconvenience to residents.

Through the prompt action and urgency of our Punong Barangay Alfonso Inocando, together with Kagawad Richard Inocando on Infrastructure and the members of the Barangay Council, immediate measures were taken early this morning to address the situation.

With the assistance of the City Agriculture - Agriculture and Bio-system Engineering Division (ABED) and their backhoe equipment, the damaged spillway was successfully repaired and is now passable once again.

We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who worked together to restore safe access for the community. Your dedication and swift response demonstrate true public service and concern for the welfare of our constituents.

A successful turnover ceremony of Project SID (Sustaining Indigenous Dialect) was conducted through the efforts of Zeanne Inoville Inocando and the Girl Scouts of the Philippines in partnership with the Barangay Council and Barangay Tribal Elders.

The activity emphasized the importance of preserving and promoting indigenous dialects as a vital part of our cultural identity and heritage. Through this initiative, the community strengthens its commitment to ensuring that indigenous languages and traditions are passed on to future generations.

The Barangay Council and Staff of Barangay Miglamin warmly welcomed the delegation from Barangay Poblacion, Cabanglasan, Bukidnon during their benchmarking activity at the Barangay Miglamin Communal Garden together with their Punong Barangay, Gresilda Prado, and Kagawad Jun Arcadio.
