During the Launching of Project 25@28: Reversing the Trend of Adolescent Pregnancy in Northern Mindanao held last March 13 at Limketkai Center, the Commission on Population and Development (CPD) Region X, led by Regional Director Niel Aldrin G. Omega, reaffirmed its commitment to a unified, multisectoral response in addressing adolescent pregnancy in the region.

In his message, Director Omega emphasized that the initiative goes beyond numbers—it is about ensuring that every young individual has the opportunity to stay in school, make informed choices, and achieve their full potential.

Through strengthened collaboration with local government units through their Local POPDEV Offices, regional line agencies, and key stakeholders, CPD Region X remains committed to achieving a 25% reduction in adolescent pregnancies by 2028, while promoting evidence-based, youth-centered, and responsive programs that support informed choices, responsible parenthood, and holistic youth development. 🎉🎉
