The Malaybalay City Fire Station, under the leadership of CINSP LLOYD M VILLAROYA, City Fire Marshal, proudly celebrates the successful conduct of the Barangay Fire Olympics 2026, a landmark initiative that brought together the BFP-MCFS, the Local Government Unit, partner agencies, academic institutions, and the barangays of Malaybalay City in one shared mission: to build a fire-safe, disaster-resilient, and empowered community.
Far more than a competition, the Barangay Fire Olympics served as a testament to the power of collaboration, preparedness, and public service. Every challenge completed, every skill demonstrated, and every lesson learned reaffirmed that safeguarding lives and properties is a collective responsibility that flourishes through unity and cooperation.
The Malaybalay City Fire Station extends its deepest gratitude and sincere appreciation to 𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐲. 𝐉𝐚𝐲 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐧 𝐑. 𝐏𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧, City Mayor of Malaybalay, for his unwavering support and steadfast commitment to programs that promote public safety, disaster preparedness, and community resilience. His continued confidence in the BFP-MCFS has significantly contributed to the success of this undertaking.

Special recognition is likewise accorded to 𝐌𝐬. 𝐀𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐚 𝐀. 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐚, City Government Operations Officer of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG)–Malaybalay, for her unwavering support in advancing the Peace and Order and Public Safety (POPS) Plan. Through her leadership in facilitating POPS Plan meetings and championing programs that strengthen community preparedness, the Barangay Fire Olympics was successfully integrated and funded as one of the city's priority initiatives under the POPS Plan, an enduring investment in the safety and resilience of every Malaybalaynon.
The Malaybalay City Fire Station also extends its sincerest appreciation to the 𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐲 for its continued partnership and commitment to advancing programs that foster safer, more resilient communities.
