The Philippine Statistics Authority-Bukidnon is in need of Statistical Researchers.

Place of Assignment: Anywhere in Bukidnon
Project/Survey : 2026 Global Adult To***co Survey (GATS)
Employment Status : Contract of Service Worker (COSW)

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
Eligibility : Preferably with at least CSC 1st level eligibility (Sub-Professional Level)
Education : Must be college graduate or K-12 graduate (following office Memorandum No. 2024-107)
Training : None Required
Experience : Preferably with experience in previous household-based surveys;

Other requirements:
1. Must be willing to undergo training in specified training centers for 5 days;
2. With good moral character;
3. Must be willing to work away from home, including Saturdays, and holidays, if necessary;
4. Must be physically fit to walk long distance; must not be pregnant as fieldwork may put their pregnancy at risk; submit medical certificate duly certified by a government physician.
5. Must have pleasing personality friendly, courteous, and have the ability to easily develop good rapport with respondents;
6. Must be willing to be assigned anywhere in the province;
7. Must speak the main dialect in the province or region;
8. Must understand English since training materials are written in English;
9. Preferably a resident in any of the cities/municipalities where the sample barangays/enumeration areas are located; and
10. With no existing work contract with PSA and other agency, present clearance or COE from previous employment.

📊 HAPPENING NOW | 2026 Quarterly Survey of Philippine Business and Industry (QSPBI) Respondents’ Forum and PSIC Training

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Bukidnon Provincial Statistical Office is currently conducting the 2026 QSPBI Respondents’ Forum and PSIC Training, an activity aimed at orienting business and industry respondents on the proper accomplishment and submission of the QSPBI questionnaire.

The activity opened with a Welcome Message from Chief Statistical Specialist Maria Evangeline N. Non, followed by Pinky Rose A. Rabina, who discussed the instructions on how to accomplish the 2026 QSPBI, providing respondents with guidance on the information needed and the proper way of completing the survey.

A demonstration on how to use the different types of 2026 QSPBI questionnaires was also presented by Melchor S. Valdez, providing respondents with a practical guide in accomplishing the appropriate questionnaire for their respective establishments.

Meanwhile, Jennifer L. Villarta facilitated the Philippine Standard Industrial Classification (PSIC) Training, which aims to enhance respondents’ understanding of PSIC and guide them in the proper classification of their business activities.

Adding to the activity is the Recognition of the Top 10 QSPBI Respondents, in appreciation of their valuable cooperation and timely submission in support to the PSA’s data collection efforts. 🏆👏

Through this activity, the PSA strengthens its partnership with business establishments in generating accurate, timely, and reliable statistics that serve as important inputs for economic planning, policy formulation, and decision-making.
