The PESOs of Albay First District continue to prove that stronger employment services begin with stronger partnerships, shared purpose and genuine collaboration.

Through the successful conduct of the Search for Best PESO Technical Workshop, PESO Malinao, PESO Tiwi, PESO Tabaco and PESO Malilipot came together not only to enhance their technical skills but more importantly to strengthen the bonds, cooperation and camaraderie that unite the 1st District PESOs.

This activity highlights the importance of learning from one another, sharing best practices, supporting each other's efforts and working as one team toward a common goal - providing better, more responsive and more meaningful employment services to our communities.

As part of the Linggo ng Kabataan celebration, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Balading organized a meaningful team-building and learning activity held on August 16, 2026 at Adelaida Farm Resort, Tabaco City, Albay.

A key highlight of the activity was the learning session facilitated by Sir Jerbert C. Carillo, Employment Focal of PESO Malinao which focused on the importance of employability, career readiness and preparing young people for the realities of todayโ€™s world of work.

In a time when young people face rapidly changing career opportunities, evolving workplace demands and increasing competition for employment discussions like these are especially relevant. Equipping the youth with the right mindset, skills and awareness can help them make informed career decisions and become more prepared for future opportunities.

We commend SK Chairperson Gwen B. Clemeรฑa for taking the initiative to include a learning-focused component in their Linggo ng Kabataan celebration. This goes beyond the usual SK activities and demonstrates a thoughtful approach to addressing the actual needs and challenges faced by todayโ€™s youth.

Matagumpay na naisagawa ang Career Development Support Program sa Malinao National High School - isang hakbang tungo sa mas malinaw na direksyon, tamang pagpili ng landas at mas handang pagharap ng ating mga mag-aaral sa mundo ng trabaho.

Bahagi ito ng priority program ni Mayor Sheryl P. Capus-Bilo na hindi lamang bigyan ng edukasyon ang ating kabataan kundi ihanda sila para sa labor force upang sa pagdating ng panahon sila ay may sapat na kaalaman, kasanayan, kumpiyansa at direksyon upang abutin ang kanilang mga pangarap.

Taos-pusong pasasalamat sa suporta nina Vice Mayor Abner E. Cargullo, Councilor Irene M. Fajut at Councilor Reymond C. Mahinay at kay Dr. Cristobal A. Sayago, Principal III at sa buong MNHS para sa mainit na pagtanggap at pakikiisa.

Isinagawa ang programa para sa Grade 10 students ng Labnig National High School upang maagang matulungan ang mga mag-aaral na makilala ang kanilang mga kakayahan, interes at potensyal at maiugnay ang mga ito sa mga oportunidad at pangangailangan ng labor market.
