Labnig National High School announced the appointment of its Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) officers for School Year 2026โ€“2027 after no election was conducted.

The appointments, made on February 26, 2026, install a new group of student leaders, ushering in a fresh team ready to champion the voices and initiatives of the student body.

Lyka C. Carinan takes the helm as President, supported by the following officers:

Vice President: Jessa Mae C. Capus
Secretary: Jan Gillian B. Barcelo
Treasurer: Mae A. Callo
Auditor: Rizian Cristoff Floriano
Public Information Officer: Rihannah Mae C. Ceneta
Peace Officer: Leo Jay C. Collantes

Grade-level representatives were also appointed to represent their respective year levels:

Grade 8: John Ely C. Collantes and Akira Marie C. Baleta
Grade 9: Aleria Juliana T. Velarde and Aira Mae B. Melgar
Grade 10: Menchie R. Canaria and Eljay A. Bendaรฑa

Quarter 4 Learning Action Cell (LAC)
March 12, 2026

Teaching Staff of Labnig National High School (LNHS) convene at the ICT Laboratory on March 12, 2026 for the Quarter 4 Learning Action Cell (LAC) session focusing on Explicit Instruction: Enhancing Teaching Practices Across Subject Areas, with Jayson B. Caneta, PhD, Master Teacher I, serving as LAC facilitator and leading a demonstration teaching to highlight effective instructional strategies.

The activity, conducted through the support and guidance of School Principal II Lourdes B. Colasi, EdD, provided a collaborative platform for educators to exchange insights and refine classroom practices.

The session proved productive as participating teachers actively engaged in discussions, sharing recommendations and suggestions aimed at making the strategy more appropriate and effective for implementation in the coming school year.

Congratulations to our 11 JDVP learner-beneficiaries in ICT for completing the 40-day training.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our partner institution, the management and staff of E-Transcribe Education System Inc. (MTC Academy), the administrator, Ma'am Anabel Bermas, CSS trainors, for their invaluable support to this group of students.

This initiative aims to gather reading and reference materials that will help equip the future college library and support the academic needs of upcoming learners.
