Pursuant to the national policy on Gender and Development (GAD) and Gender Mainstreaming, all Local Government Units (LGUs) are encouraged to continuously strengthen inclusive, gender-responsive, and people-centered governance through the integration of Gender Equality, Disability, and Social Inclusion (GEDSI) and Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) perspectives in local governance processes.

๐น Maintain the integrity of the GAD budget by funding responsive and inclusive PPAs
๐น Strengthen the functionality of the GAD Focal Point System (GFPS)
๐น Promote inclusive programs anchored on gender equality and social inclusion
๐น Continue conducting capacity-building activities on GAD, GEDSI, and GESI for local officials and personnel
