DAY 2 | FY 2027 BUDGET FORUM

Another productive day as we continued our FY 2027 Budget Forum with the theme, “Strengthening Results-Based Planning, Fiscal Discipline, and Sustainable Local Governance.”

The morning session was led by our very own Budget Personnel, Ma’am Shaira J. Ocliasa and Ma’am Meraflor A. Peregrino, who discussed Market Scoping and PPMP (Procurement Planning Integration). The session gave our offices a clearer understanding of the importance of proper procurement planning and aligning our requirements with our programs and budget.

In the afternoon, each office participated in a workshop, followed by the presentation and reporting of their respective outputs. It was a productive session filled with discussions, ideas, and coordination among offices.

To cap off Day 2, our Municipal Administrator, Engr. Bryan T. Bautista, gave his closing remarks and reminded everyone that FY 2027 marks the full implementation of Republic Act No. 12009, or the New Government Procurement Act. He emphasized the importance of being prepared, compliant, transparent, and accountable in all our procurement processes.

At the end of the day, one thing is clear:

“Dili lang ta mag-plano para makumpleto ang papeles. Mag-plano ta aron sakto ang gasto, hapsay ang proseso, ug ang serbisyo moabot gyud sa katawhan.”

Day 2 done. Padayon sa maayong pagplano, pagdumala, ug serbisyo publiko!
