Noong Agosto 25, 2026, naging bahagi ang School Emergency Response Team (SERT) ng pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika. Habang ipinapakita ng bawat isa ang pagmamahal sa sariling wika at kultura, patuloy namang nakatutok ang SERT sa kaligtasan ng mga dumalo sa programa.

Sa simpleng pagbabantay, pag-alalay, at pagiging handa, naipapakita rin ang tunay na diwa ng paglilingkod sa kapwa.

Sa bawat selebrasyon, SERT ay naroon—handa kung kailangan, maaasahan sa lahat ng pagkakataon.

The Institute of Professional Graduate Students (IPGS) successfully held its General Assembly and Orientation earlier today at the school auditorium. Ensuring the safety and well-being of all attendees, the School Emergency Response Team (SERT) was on full duty, providing active medical monitoring and operational assistance throughout the event.

The smooth ex*****on of the assembly was made possible through the close coordination between SERT and the School Nurse, Miss Maria Alondra, in collaboration with the SPAMAST-Medical and Dental Services. Her professional guidance and cooperation were instrumental in maintaining a secure environment for the graduate school community.

The School Emergency Response Team (SERT) fulfilled its duty of ensuring public safety during the SMAARRDEC 39th Founding Anniversary held yesterday. Tasked with monitoring the event's attendees, the team maintained a vigilant presence and provided immediate medical attention to individuals who experienced health emergencies.

In coordination with Sir 𝐉𝐨𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐚 and Miss 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚 𝐀𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐚, the SERT effectively managed the event's medical response, ensuring that all situations were addressed promptly and professionally. The team also conducted vital signs checks on participants to guarantee their well-being throughout the celebration. Their proactive measures contributed significantly to the smooth and orderly conduct of the event.

𝐁𝐄𝐀𝐓 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐓

Lately the heat has been hard to ignore inside the classrooms, out in the halls, even just walking around campus. It's the kind of weather where we all need to slow down a bit and actually take care of ourselves, not just push through it.

𝐃𝐎 ✅

· Carry a water bottle and sip on it throughout the day, don't wait until your throat feels dry.
· Go for light, breathable clothes so your body isn't trapping in extra heat.
· Grab an umbrella or cap if you're walking under direct sun.
· Rest in shaded or airy spots when you get the chance.
· Check on your classmates too, if someone looks pale or unsteady, sit with them and get help.

𝐃𝐎𝐍'𝐓 ❌

· Waiting until you're already thirsty to drink water.
· Standing around in direct sunlight for too, as "nothing."

The school clinic is open and staffed for exactly this kind of situation. Feeling dizzy, off, or just not right? Walk over and get checked. No need to tough it out or wait for it to pass on its own.

Look out for each other this week. Drink water, take it slow, and rest when you need to.

𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐓 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔–𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟕

A meaningful start to another year of service as SERT gathered for its General Meeting 2026-2027. The meeting opened with a warm welcome address from our SERT Adviser, Sir Joeper M. Abella, followed by the Accomplishment Report, Financial Report, and CBL Reading presented by our SERT Secretary, Miss Jhasmin Ann Teh, and SERT President, Miss Hope Aposaga. The meeting concluded with a closing remark from our Internal Consultant, Ma’am Sheryl Mae Carbajosa, bringing the gathering to a meaningful close.

We also extend our congratulations to Monique Trinidad on her nomination as Assistant Secretary. We wish you the best as you take on this new responsibility and become part of the team’s work for the coming term.

A series of earthquakes has been felt in several areas today. As we experience these tremors, everyone is encouraged to remain calm, stay alert, and follow proper safety measures.

Before an earthquake, prepare an emergency plan, keep essential supplies ready, secure heavy furniture, and stay informed through reliable sources. During shaking, remember: Drop, Cover, and Hold On. Protect your head and neck, stay away from windows and heavy objects, and avoid using elevators. If you are outdoors, move to an open area away from buildings, trees, and power lines.

After the shaking stops, check for injuries, inspect your surroundings for damage and hazards, follow official advisories, and evacuate if necessary.

From intense games to powerful cheers, May 19, 2026 was definitely a day to remember!

The morning kicked off with 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐅𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 for all 2nd year students, where everyone brought their energy, teamwork, and competitive spirit onto the court and field. Every match was filled with excitement as students cheered, competed, and gave their all for their teams.

As the afternoon came, the spotlight shifted to the 1st year students for 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐲𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔. The performances lit up the venue with incredible stunts, synchronized routines, loud cheers, and unstoppable school spirit that kept the crowd energized from start to finish.

Behind the success of the whole event was the dedication of the 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐄𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 (𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐓), who remained on standby throughout the day to help ensure everyone’s safety. In collaboration with the 𝐌𝐃𝐑𝐑𝐌𝐎 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐚 during the afternoon activities, the event was kept organized, prepared, and safe for all participants and spectators.

One unforgettable day, countless memories, and a whole lot of school spirit!
