The 1st Malita Inter-High Volleyball Clinic was successfully conducted in partnership with the Local Government Unit of Malita, in line with the Local Chief Executive’s flagship program, “Mag Bola, Wag Droga” of Honorable Mayor Benjamin P. Bautista Jr. The five-day training program was held at the New ABC Gym, Poblacion, Malita, Davao Occidental, aiming to enhance and develop the volleyball skills of the participants.

It was facilitated by Ms. Shyril S. Muñoz together with the staff of the Local Sports Development Unit, who provided technical guidance and support throughout the activity. The clinic served as a platform for youth athletes to strengthen teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship while promoting a healthy and drug-free lifestyle in the municipality of Malita.

Participants expressed their appreciation for the opportunity and committed to continue training and applying the skills learned during the intensive five-day volleyball clinic held successfully in Malita, Davao Occidental.

The Local Government Unit of Malita successfully conducted the Barangay Integrated Consultative Program in Brgy. Talogoy, a flagship initiative under the leadership of Honorable Mayor Benjamin P. Bautista Jr.. The program aims to bring government services closer to the people, especially communities in far-flung barangays, through direct consultation, coordination, and service delivery. Various government offices participated in the activity, offering essential public services, consultations, and information dissemination to the residents of Brgy. Talogoy.

Department heads and staff actively engaged with community members to address local concerns, provide updates on government programs, and strengthen the partnership between the local government and the barangay. The activity was also graced by Honorable Councilor Estefanie Bautista-Dumama, Honorable Board Member Benjamin T. Bautista III, Provincial IPMR Honorable Carmelita Oralde, and Provincial Health Officer Dr. Anne Margaux Bautista-Quezada, whose presence highlighted their continued support for community development and inclusive governance.

The LGU of Malita extends its sincerest gratitude to the Brgy. Council of Brgy. Talogoy, headed by Brgy. Chairman Honorable Renato Oralde for their cooperation, hospitality, and unwavering support in ensuring the successful conduct of the Barangay Integrated Consultative Program.

The flagship program of Mayor Benjamin P. Bautista Jr.'s administration continues to bring government services closer to the people through its community outreach initiative, now held at Barangay Tical. The activity brought together the offices of the Local Government Unit of Malita to directly deliver essential public services, assistance, and programs to residents of the barangay. This initiative reflects the commitment of the municipal government to ensure that even far-flung communities receive accessible and efficient government services.

During the activity, the message of the Municipal Mayor was delivered by Eng. Bryan T. Bautista, Municipal Administrator, who emphasized the administration’s dedication to responsive governance, unity, and continuous public service. He encouraged the residents to actively participate in community programs and assured them that the local government remains committed to improving the welfare of every Malitaanon.

LOCAL HEALTH BOARD MEETING | Advancing a Healthier and More Resilient Municipality

The Local Health Board Meeting was convened to strengthen collaboration among stakeholders, assess current public health concerns, and reinforce programs that promote the overall welfare of the community. Through the leadership of Honorable Mayor Ismo Bautista, in coordination with Councilor Esma Bautista, Chairperson of the Committee on Health, this meeting was held to strengthen the municipality’s commitment to providing accessible and quality health services to the people of Malita.

The meeting was attended by OIC-MHO Dr. Claudine Bautista, together with her medical and administrative staff, along with MLGO DILG-Malita Farhaana Faiz, whose presence supported inter-agency collaboration and strengthened the municipality’s health initiatives. Through collective planning, coordination, and informed decision-making, the meeting aims to ensure that health services remain responsive, inclusive, and sustainable for every constituent.

In celebration of Women’s Month 2026, the Malita Empowered Organizations of Women (MEOW) successfully conducted a meaningful tree-planting activity last March 2026.

This initiative reflects MEOW’s continuing commitment to empowering women and recognizing their valuable contributions in building stronger, greener, and more resilient communities.
As part of the program, 856 women beneficiaries/participants were enrolled for insurance coverage through the Philippine Crop Insurance Corporation (PCIC), through the efforts and support of the Office of Councilor Esma Bautista under the leadership of Benjamin P. Bautista Jr.

The insurance coverage may be availed of in cases of accidents, including machinery-related injuries, falls, cuts from sharp tools, animal attacks, electrical accidents, transportation-related accidents not involving alcohol intoxication, snake bites, and drowning.
For hospitalization claims due to accidents requiring at least one (1) day of confinement, the insurance provides reimbursement equivalent to 20% of the total amount reflected in the official hospital receipts.

In the event of death, the designated beneficiary of the insured member shall receive:

₱50,000 insurance benefit; and
₱2,000 burial assistance.

All beneficiaries are advised to claim their insurance policies at the Office of Councilor Esma Bautista located at the Municipal Hall of Malita.

The Barangay Integrated Consultative Program, a flagship initiative of the administration of Hon. Mayor Benjamin P. Bautista Jr., continues to bring government services closer to the people through direct community engagement. We held an activity in Barangay Datu Danwata that brought residents, local officials, and partner agencies together to address grassroots concerns and deliver essential services.

The program was hosted in coordination with the Barangay Council, led by Hon. Rogelio D. Labis, with the support of Sangguniang Bayan Member Hon. Generosa Alcordo. Representing the mayor, Engr. Bryan T. Bautista, our Municipal Administrator, conveyed a strong message of commitment to responsive governance and inclusive development. He emphasized the importance of listening to community needs and ensuring that government programs are accessible and effective.

Also present during the activity was Hon. Board Member Benjamin Bautista III, who expressed his support and highlighted the significance of unity among local leaders in fostering progress.

Various partner offices participated by bringing their services directly to the barangay, benefiting residents through consultations, assistance, and information dissemination. Lee, Administrative Aide IV (Field Collector-Designate), Municipal Treasurer's Office, Malita, Davao Occidental.

Despite diligent efforts to locate and recover the aforementioned accountable form, the Official Receipts could not be found.

This notice is issued to caution the public and all concerned to guard against any fraudulent use of the said Official Receipts. Should it be found or come into the possession of any unauthorized person, it is requested that the matter be reported immediately to this office.

The Barangay Integrated Consultative Program, spearheaded by Honorable Mayor Benjamin P. Bautista Jr., was successfully conducted in Barangay Pangian, Malita, Davao Occidental. As one of the flagship initiatives of the Local Government Unit of Malita, the program aims to bring essential government services closer to the people, ensuring that even those in remote areas have direct access to assistance and information.

The activity gathered all government offices, represented by their respective department heads and staff, demonstrating a unified commitment to public service. They were joined by the Barangay Council of Pangian, led by Honorable Jeffrey Ma**da, whose leadership played a key role in organizing the event at the community level.

Delivering the Mayor’s message of support, Bryan T. Bautista emphasized the administration’s dedication to inclusive governance and responsive service delivery. Also present were Sangguniang Bayan Member Generosa Alcordo, Indigenous Peoples’ Mandatory Representative Visitacion S. Ricanor, and Board Member Benjamin Bautista III, who all expressed their support for the program.

Also present during the activity are our national government agencies - Department of Interior and Local Government, Philippine Statistics Office, and PhilHealth.
