LOOK: DILG Malitbog conducted an onsite monitoring of the Municipal Full Disclosure Policy (BFDP) Boards located @ the Public Plaza, Municipal Hall and Public terminal yesterday June 4, 2026. MLGOO Alipao was assisted by the newly designated FDP focal Gladys Mae Macabuhay.
Posted documents (1st quarter docs) were complete and updated. The FDP focal is encouraged to sustain the updated posting of the required documents to provide full disclosure on their financial transactions to keep their constituents informed how the LGU budget is managed, allocated, and utilized.

The activity aims to ensure proper guidance and a uniform understanding of the prescribed requirements and procedures in the processing and approval of Foreign Travel Authorities.
It strongly emphasize that all applications for Foreign Travel Authority of appointed and elected local officialsโ€”whether for official or personal travelโ€”during the period of the declared State of National Calamity shall be submitted to the Secretary of the DILG, in accordance with Office of the President Administrative Order No. 6, series of 2001.

MLGOO Glenda Alipao conducted an orientation for all Punong Barangays and Barangay Secretaries regarding DILG MC No. 2026-021 last May 13 & 14, 2026 which addresses the Inventory and Turnover of Barangay and SK Properties, Financial Records, Documents (BSK PFRDs), and Money Accountabilities by all current Barangay and SK Officials. This initiative also includes the establishment of the Barangay and SK Inventory Team and the City/Municipal Assessment and Transition Team, as we prepare for the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections scheduled for the first Monday of November 2026.

The session aimed to provide crucial guidance on the effective inventory and turnover processes for Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan properties, financial records, and accountability measures in anticipation of the upcoming 2026 BSKE. Additionally, it sought to offer Punong Barangays and Barangay Secretaries meaningful insights to facilitate a smooth, transparent, and accountable transition in barangay and SK governance.
