Strengthening local justice, enhancing public service.
Yours truly, together with our very own Vice Mayor Papias Namoc Papias Namoc and SB secretary Hydie Tanque, are honored to have participated in the seminar entitled “Leveraging Local Sanggunian’s Quasi-Judicial Functions,” held on August 11–13, 2026, at Summit Hotel, Tacloban City.

Organized by the Region VIII Vice Mayors’ League of the Philippines, in coordination with the Philippine Councilors’ League and the Department of the Interior and Local Government Region VIII, the seminar provided valuable insights into the important quasi-judicial responsibilities of local Sanggunian members.

This learning opportunity deepens our commitment to uphold due process, fairness, accountability, and responsive local governance in the service of our constituents.

Ang National Commission of Senior Citizens kun NCSC ug ang Lokal nga Kagamhanan sa Malitbog, Southern Leyte, pinaagi sa Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office nagpahigayon og paghatag og cash gift nga nagkantidad og ₱10,000 matag usa alang sa mga senior citizen kaniadtong Agosto 05, 2026.

Nakadawat sa maong insentibo ang anaa sa 28 ka senior citizen nga kwalipikado nga octogenarians ug nonagenarians sa lungsod ubos sa Expanded Centenarian Act.

Tumong sa maong programa ang paghatag og pasidungog, pagrespeto, ug pagpakita og pasalamat sa gobyerno alang sa ilang mga sakripisyo ug gidugayon sa kinabuhi nga nakatabang sa pagpalambo sa ilang mga pamilya ug komunidad.

Ang malampusong pag-apod-apod nagpakita sa lig-on nga kooperasyon tali sa nasyonal nga ahensya ug sa LGU Malitbog aron masiguro nga ang mga hinungdanong serbisyo ug suporta pinansyal direktang maabot sa mga katigulangan ug mga nanginahanglan sa katilingban.
