"SAFE OFW PATHS: Anti-Trafficking and Labor Justice"

A successful forum and consultation on OFW policies in partnership with the Department of Migrant Workers โ€“ Region X, held last March 13, 2026 at the 2nd Floor, Municipal Conference Hall. This initiative strengthens awareness and promotes the protection, safety, and rights of our modern-day heroesโ€”our OFWs.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to OIC Regional Director Mr. Emmanuel G. Toledo of DMW Region X, together with his team, for sharing their valuable knowledge and insights on anti-trafficking and labor justice.

Thank you as well to the participants from the 11 barangays and SB members Hon. Francisca E. Emano, Hon. Renerio Cabanes, Hon. Ar-ar Nalda for your active involvement and commitment to learning.

February 5, 2026 || Orientation of DOLE Integrated Livelihood Program for Group Association

An Orientation on the DOLE Integrated Livelihood Program (DILP) was successfully conducted yesterday February 5, 2026, for the Kiabo Livestock Workers Association and Dyakidon Womenโ€™s Association.

The activity aimed to orient the members on the objectives, guidelines, and opportunities under the program, strengthening their capacity to manage and sustain livelihood projects. Through this initiative, DOLE continues to support workersโ€™ organizations and womenโ€™s groups toward inclusive growth and economic empowerment.

The Public Employment Service Office - Malitbog together with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) successfully conducted the Orientation of DOLE Integrated Livelihood Program for Parents of Child Laborers last January 29, 2026.

This meaningful activity aims to provide sustainable livelihood opportunities for parents, helping improve family income and prevent child labor through decent work and economic empowerment.
