📌 PARTICIPATION IN THE BARANGAY QUARTERLY ASSEMBLY MEETING

The Bureau of Fire Protection – Mallig Fire Station participated in the Barangay Quarterly Assembly Meeting to strengthen coordination with barangay officials and community members and promote public safety, fire prevention, and disaster preparedness.

The activity also served as an opportunity to remind residents of their roles and responsibilities in preventing fire incidents and maintaining a safe and resilient community.

Through active participation and collaboration, BFP Mallig remains committed to protecting lives and properties and ensuring the safety of every Malligueño.

🚒 HOUSE-TO-HOUSE SURVEY AND FIRE SAFETY AWARENESS

The Bureau of Fire Protection – Mallig Fire Station conducted a house-to-house survey in Centro 1, Mallig, Isabela, to assess fire safety conditions and remind residents of the importance of fire prevention and preparedness.

Residents were encouraged to practice proper electrical safety, avoid unattended cooking, handle LPG cylinders properly, and refrain from burning garbage and dry leaves. The activity aims to promote awareness, prevent fire incidents, and ensure a safer community for everyone.

Huwag buhusan ng tubig ang nasusunog na saksakan, appliance, o kagamitang de-kuryente! Maaari itong magdulot ng electrical shock at mas malalang sunog.

✅ Patayin ang main switch o circuit breaker kung ligtas itong gawin.
✅ Huwag hawakan ang nasusunog na kagamitang de-kuryente.
✅ Gumamit lamang ng angkop na fire extinguisher kung ligtas at may sapat na kaalaman.
✅ Lumikas at tumawag sa BFP kung lumalaki ang apoy.

🍱🚒 SCHOOL FEEDING AND SCHOOL SAFETY AWARENESS | VICTORIA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

The Bureau of Fire Protection – Mallig Fire Station, under the leadership of 𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗣 𝗝𝗘𝗥𝗪𝗜𝗡 𝗢 𝗖𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗢, Acting Municipal Fire Marshal, conducted a School Feeding and School Safety Awareness activity at Victoria Elementary School, with the valuable assistance of Ms. Grasyosa Gallo.

The activity aimed to promote the well-being of learners through food assistance while enhancing their knowledge of fire prevention, emergency preparedness, and essential school safety practices. This initiative highlights the importance of community partnership and collective efforts in ensuring the safety and welfare of young learners.

Ang sunog ay maaaring magdulot ng pagkawala ng buhay at pagkasira ng ari-arian. Huwag magpakakampante—maging alerto at laging unahin ang kaligtasan!

✅ Huwag iwang nakasindi ang kandila at kalan nang walang nagbabantay.
✅ Iwasan ang overloaded outlets at octopus connections.
✅ Siguraduhing ligtas ang paggamit ng LPG.
✅ Ilayo ang posporo at lighter sa mga bata.
✅ Magkaroon ng fire exit at emergency plan sa bahay.

Mallig Fire Station participated in the celebration of Global Handwashing Day, conducted at San Jose National High School, promoting proper handwashing practices and the importance of maintaining good personal hygiene.

The activity aimed to raise awareness among students about the importance of washing hands with soap and clean water to help prevent the spread of germs and diseases. Through this initiative, Mallig FS continues to support health awareness and encourage everyone to practice proper hand hygiene in their daily lives.
