As of 2:00 PM today, 16 August 2026, the Low Pressure Area (LPA 08e) is being monitored outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) and is "UNLIKELY" to develop into a Tropical Depression within the next 24 hours.

Meanwhile, another Low Pressure Area (LPA 08f) is being monitored outside PAR and has a “MEDIUM” potential of developing into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours.

All are advised to monitor updates from DOST-PAGASA.

Thunderstorm Advisory No. 1
Issued at: 12:50 PM, 16 August 2026(Sunday)

Moderate to heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds are expected over Bulacan(Dona Remedios Trinidad, San Miguel) within the next 2 hours.

The above conditions are being experienced in Nueva Ecija(General Tinio) which may persist within 2 hours and may affect nearby areas.

All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards which include flash floods and landslides.
