Sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa, binibigyang-pugay ng Pambansang Lupon sa Pagpapaunlad ng Aklat (NBDB) ang lahat ng manlilikha at may-akdang Pinoy na patuloy na itinataguyod, pinalalakas, at pinagyayaman ang ating sariling wika.

Mabuhay ang wikang Filipino!

The 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 (NARA) is a nationwide network of over 190 individuals and organizations committed to addressing the reading crisis in the Philippines. 𝗘𝘅 𝗟𝗶𝗯𝗿𝗶𝘀, the Aklatang Gabriel A. Bernardo and The Book Nook Malolos, as advocates for literacy and libraries, fully commit to the mission of NARA to build a nation that reads!

Poets and Storytellers, ye are hereby summoned to the Book Nook Malolos.

To all whose names appear upon this proclamation, our warmest congratulations. You are invited to join a fellowship of readers, poets, and storytellers, all for a school that reads.

Should it please thee, visit the Book Nook Malolos on Friday, the 31st of July, between 10:00 in the morning and 2:00 in the afternoon.

There thou you may complete the Membership Form and receive thy Parental Consent Form from the Book Nook volunteers on duty.

May your next chapter begin at the Nook.

If so, Book Nook Malolos is looking for passionate student volunteers to become our Resident Poets and Storytellers! Share your creativity, inspire others, and help cultivate a love for reading among your fellow Delpilarians.

What do our volunteers do?

🎤 Poets
Write and perform original poems, share literary works, and inspire the school community through the power of words.

📖 Storytellers
Read and narrate children's books during storytelling sessions in our reading space, helping younger readers discover the joy of books.

On this 43rd National Children’s Book Day, we celebrate the stories that turn young readers into future visionaries, ones who will ultimately contribute to nation-building with empathy, courage, and integrity.

As the first messengers of values in a child's life, books are even more vital at a time when societal struggles place children at the forefront. They offer respite, refuge, and hope that, amidst challenges, a brighter future lies ahead.

Let’s keep turning the pages—for our children and for our nation.
