LOOK | Finally, NARECOM Tamban Chapter President Had a Chance to Talk to SK Tamban Chairperson! 🏀🔥

The 6th Sangguniang Kabataan ng Barangay Tamban, led by Hon. Rhona Faith M. Alforque, LPT, is thrilled to share that nagka-storya na jud finally ang NARECOM Tamban Chapter President ug ang SK Tamban Chairperson—and yes, this could be an indication nga naa gyuy padulong nga Barangay Tamban Cup 2026!

In celebration of the 54th Foundation Anniversary of Barangay Tamban, we are currently looking into the possibility of bringing back the excitement, competition, and sportsmanship through another season of the Barangay Tamban Cup.

Pero kalma lang sa, mga ka-Tamban! Wala pa ta'y final details karon. Daghan pa og factors nga kinahanglan i-consider ug i-plastar sa SK Council, especially with the upcoming BSKE Election 2026 and the various guidelines, schedules, logistics, budget considerations, and other matters that may affect the conduct of the tournament.

Mao nga dili pa dayon ta makahatag og final announcement. But one thing is certain—the conversation has started.

So, stay tuned, Kabataan sa Tamban! We know excited na ang tanan, and honestly, excited pud mi!

Abang-abang lang ta sa official announcement, mechanics, schedules, requirements, and other important details once everything is properly planned and finalized.

LOOK|| KALBANGAN, WE’RE COMING IN STRONG! | Serbisyo, Sports, and Community in One Upland Mission 🌱💪🏀

From the lowlands to the uplands — serbisyo para sa kabataan, serbisyo para sa komunidad! ❤️

The 6th Sangguniang Kabataan ng Barangay Tamban, led by Hon. Rhona Faith M. Alforque, LPT, successfully installed basketball rings and boards at Sitio Kalbangan, Tamban, Malungon, Sarangani Province. But our Kalbangan mission didn’t stop there! 🙌

As we made our way up, we also brought additional services and activities for the community:

✂️ Libreng Gupit para sa atong mga kabataan ug residents
🥣 Feeding Program — two large pots of warm and delicious champorado shared with the community
🏐 Volleyball Court — another space for sports, recreation, and healthy activities
☀️ Four (4) Solar Lights installed to help brighten the community and provide additional lighting in the area

This is what youth leadership in action looks like — not only creating programs on paper, but bringing them directly to the people, wherever they are. 💚

A huge SALAMAT KAAYO to the people of Sitio Kalbangan, under the leadership of Sitio Chairman Johnson Uba, for the warm welcome, cooperation, and support. Your hospitality and willingness to work with us made this mission even more meaningful.

Our deepest appreciation also goes to all the volunteers and individuals who joined us in going uphill, helped carry materials, assisted in the installation, prepared the feeding activity, and literally conquered the road with us just to make these projects happen. 🥹💪

And of course, daghang salamat, Kap Virgilio A. Asgapo Jr., our Punong Barangay, who personally made his way to Kalbangan to help ensure that the work could be completed smoothly and efficiently. 🙌

Despite the busy schedule, Kap Virgilio A. Asgapo Jr. and SK Chairperson Rhona Faith M. Alforque were also able to join the AIP Crafting of Kalbangan Elementary School — making the trip not only about project implementation, but also about listening, coordinating, and planning alongside the community and our school partners. 📚🤝

Layo man ang dalan, dili layo ang serbisyo.
Because for us, every sitio matters, every young person matters, and every community deserves to be reached. ❤️

From sports facilities, community lighting, free services, to a simple bowl of champorado — these may seem like small things, but together, they create spaces where people can gather, connect, play, and dream bigger.

This is the 6th SK Tamban — padayon sa pagserbisyo, bisan asa pa ang dalan padulong.

4/4📍 LOOK | Bringing Smiles, Hope, and Knowledge to Our Young Learners! 💙📚

The 6th Sangguniang Kabataan ng Barangay Tamban, led by Hon. Rhona Faith M. Alforque, LPT, successfully conducted a School Supplies Distribution, Feeding Program, and Peer Education Session at Danao Integrated School.

A total of 75 packs of school supplies were distributed to our learners, while more than 100 beneficiaries were served through our feeding program. To further promote youth health and well-being, a Peer Education Session on Teenage Pregnancy and HIV Awareness was conducted by the Malungon Youth Peer Educators, equipping our students with valuable knowledge and empowering them to make informed and responsible decisions.

This meaningful initiative reflects our commitment to ensuring that every young learner receives not only educational support but also proper nutrition and access to relevant information that will help them build a brighter future.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to the Barangay Local Government Unit of Barangay Tamban, through the leadership of Hon. Virgilio A. Asgapo Jr., for the unwavering support and commitment to youth-centered programs.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to the Malungon Youth Peer Educators ( Sir Bob, Renzo and Sir Sam) for sharing their time, knowledge, and dedication in educating our young people.

To the Faculty and Staff of Danao Integrated School, thank you for your warm accommodation, cooperation, and support in making this activity successful.

Among gipadayag ang among kinasingkasing nga pagpasalamat sa atong IPMR, Datu Esma Moda, nga nagapanguna ug nagrepresentar sa atong tribo, alang sa iyang padayon nga pagpanguna, pag-amuma sa kultura, ug pagpalig-on sa panaghiusa sa atong mga katutubo.

Dako usab among pasalamat kang Hon. Virgilio A. Asgapo Jr., Punong Barangay, uban sa 11th Sangguniang Barangay Council, alang sa ilang suporta, pagpanguna, ug padayon nga paghatag og importansya sa atong kultura ug tradisyon.

Ug siyempre, daghang salamat sa tanang bisita, tribal leaders, elders, barangay officials, partners, ug mga kauban sa komunidad nga mipakita sa ilang suporta ug mitambong sa atong selebrasyon. Ang inyong presensya nakadugang og kalipay ug kahulugan sa maong kalihokan.

Atong padayon nga ampingan ang atong kultura, respetuhon ang atong mga tradisyon, ug ipasa ang atong identidad ngadto sa sunod nga henerasyon.
