May 30–31, 2026 | Declogging Operation at Balbagon Creek
The personnel of the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) conducted a declogging operation at Balbagon Creek on May 30–31, 2026, as part of its continuous disaster preparedness and mitigation efforts. The activity involved the clearing and removal of accumulated debris, waste materials, mud, and other obstructions along the creek to improve the natural flow of water and reduce the risk of flooding, especially during periods of heavy rainfall.
The operation aimed to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the waterway while helping prevent possible overflow that may endanger nearby communities and properties. Through the collective efforts of the PDRRMO personnel, the declogging activity contributed to environmental sanitation, strengthened flood prevention measures, and promoted public safety and community resilience against potential disasters.
