Tonight, we responded to a fire involving dry grass and overgrown plants. As the weather remains hot and dry, we would like to remind everyone once again not to burn dry grass or any other combustible materials. Fires can spread quickly and may put lives, homes, and properties at risk.
We would also like to remind everyone that open burning is prohibited under existing local ordinances. Please observe the rules and avoid any activity that may cause or contribute to a fire.
A big thank you to the Bureau of Fire Protection – Mambajao for your swift response and immediate action in putting out the fire. We truly appreciate your dedication and commitment to keeping our community safe.
