ANOTHER MILESTONE IN YOUTH LEADERSHIP!

Congratulations to SK Chairman
Fred Alexander Arado Jaculan, together with SKPP Bokal Reychille Abelo Abian, for successfully completing and complying with all the requirements of the STI, HIV and AIDS Peer Education (SHAPE) Training conducted on August 24–28, 2026, at Pearlmont Hotel, Cagayan de Oro City.

Their participation in this important five-day training reflects their commitment to continuous learning, youth empowerment, and promoting health awareness among the young people in our community.

May the knowledge and skills gained through this training further strengthen their efforts in advocating for a well-informed, responsible, and healthier generation of youth.

Strengthening Our Marine Conservation Efforts!

Our SK Chairperson Hon. Fred Alexander Arado Jaculan proudly participated in the Capacity Building on the Management of Crown-of-Thorns Seastar (COTS) Infestation and Identification/Mapping of At-Risk Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) in Camiguin on August 19–21, 2026.

This valuable training enhanced our knowledge and skills in protecting our marine ecosystems, managing COTS infestations, and identifying vulnerable Marine Protected Areas.

The SK Baylao led by Hon. Fred Alexander Arado Jaculan proudly donated lunchboxes in support of the Baylao Elementary School Feeding Program. We hope this small contribution helps make every meal more enjoyable and encourages our young learners to stay healthy, nourished, and ready to learn.

Today, Our SK Chairman Fred Alexander Arado Jaculan Along with Youth Volunteer Geinyl Ivan Alba, Heart Angel Narbay and Queenie May Cuento proudly participated in the Anti-Drug Abuse Best Practices among Camiguin Youth entitled “Youth's Choice: A Drug-Free Life” held in celebration of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking (IDADAIT).

This meaningful activity highlighted the vital role of young people in promoting a drug-free community through awareness, education, and positive youth engagement. The event also provided an opportunity to learn and share best practices that empower the youth to make responsible choices and become advocates for a healthier and safer future.

June 24, 2026 Our SK Chairman Fred Alexander Arado Jaculan successfully completed the 3-Day Community-Based Drug Rehabilitation (CBDR) Training for Facilitators under the Voluntary Moderate Risk Program Design of Katatagan, Kalusugan at Damayan sa Komunidad (KKDK), held on June 22–24 at Villa Paraiso Apartelle.

This achievement reflects a strong commitment to promoting community welfare, empowering individuals towards recovery, and supporting initiatives that foster a healthier and drug-free society. Through this training, our SK Chairman has gained valuable knowledge and skills that will help strengthen community-based rehabilitation efforts and youth engagement programs.

We are proud to share with our fellow Baylaoanons that our 17U Mt. Carmel Baylao Basketball Team secured Place in the Mambajao Summer League 2026.

This achievement is a testament to the team's dedication, perseverance, and commitment to representing Baylao with pride and honor. Every game was played with heart, determination, and the true spirit of sportsmanship.

To our players, coaches, and everyone who supported the team—salamat sa inyung sakripisyo, pagpaningkamot, presensya, ug suporta. Congratulations, Team Mt. Carmel Baylao Under-17! We are incredibly proud of you. Keep striving, keep improving, and continue inspiring the next generation of athletes.
