HIGHLIGHTS | 76IB JOINS THE NATION IN COMMEMORATING NATIONAL HEROES DAY

MAMBURAO, OCCIDENTAL MINDORO —The 76th Infantry (Victrix) Battalion joins the Filipino nation in commemorating National Heroes Day on August 31, 2026, honoring the courage, sacrifices, and patriotism of the country’s heroes who fought and dedicated their lives for the freedom, peace, and welfare of the Filipino people. Their remarkable contributions remain an enduring part of our history and continue to inspire generations of Filipinos.

In remembering their sacrifices and contributions to the nation, the 76IB pays tribute to the legacy of our heroes by reaffirming its commitment to duty, service, and patriotism. The Battalion recognizes that the ideals demonstrated by our heroes—courage, selflessness, love of country, and service to others—remain relevant today as soldiers continue to fulfill their mandate of protecting people and contributing to peace and development.

On this occasion, the 76IB calls on every Filipino to remember the sacrifices of our heroes and to preserve the lessons of our history by embodying the spirit of patriotism in our daily lives. IN PHOTOS | 76IB STRENGTHENS HADR EFFORTS ACROSS MINDORO

MAMBURAO, OCCIDENTAL MINDORO — As several areas in Mindoro remain under a State of Calamity, the 76th Infantry (Victrix) Battalion continues to support affected communities through its Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Response (HADR) efforts. The Battalion provides manpower assistance not only in the repacking and distribution of food packs, but also in the repair of roads and water irrigation systems in various disaster-affected municipalities.

In coordination with the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) and the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Offices (MDRRMOs) of the different municipalities across Mindoro, the 76IB serves as a partner in facilitating disaster response and recovery efforts. Its personnel extend manpower assistance in the repacking and distribution of relief goods, road repair, and the restoration of water irrigation systems, helping communities regain access to essential services and support their recovery.

Through these continued HADR efforts and close coordination with local government agencies and barangay officials, the 76IB remains committed to providing timely and responsive assistance to communities affected by the disaster.

HIGHLIGHTS | 76IB FOSTERS READINESS AND CAMARADERIE IN FUN SHOOT 2026

MAMBURAO, OCCIDENTAL MINDORO — August 21, 2026 — LTC ZACARIAS DEXTER P FOLLERO INF (GSC) PA, Commanding Officer of the 76th Infantry (Victrix) Battalion, led the conduct of the Battalion Fun Shoot 2026 at the 76IB Headquarters, Barangay San Luis, Mamburao, Occidental Mindoro.
The activity provided an avenue for the battalion personnel to enhance their marksmanship skills, promote camaraderie, and strengthen teamwork and esprit de corps. It also underscored the importance of maintaining operational readiness, discipline, and proficiency among personnel.
The Battalion Fun Shoot 2026 was successfully conducted in a safe, disciplined, and professional manner, reflecting the unit’s continued commitment to excellence and readiness in the performance of its duties.
