🏅 Recognition Day | March 30, 2026

"Achievement is the cumulative result of persistent effort, guided discipline, and unwavering dedication." — Robert Collier

Pinay Elementary School proudly celebrated Recognition Day for School Year 2025–2026, as part of the 54th Closing Exercises: Graduation, Moving-Up, and Recognition Day. Guided by this year’s theme, “Filipino Graduates: Prepared to Lead with Competence and Character,” the program recognized learners who exemplified dedication, perseverance, and excellence throughout their academic journey.

Our Academic Excellence Awardees inspired the school community through their focus, determination, and hard work, while our Special Awardees shone brightly through their leadership, talents, and exemplary character.

We were also deeply honored to welcome Ms. Jofel C. Ponce, Alumna Batch 2008, as our Guest Speaker, whose inspiring message encouraged our learners to pursue their dreams with courage and integrity.

We extend our sincere gratitude to our distinguished guests for gracing this meaningful celebration: Hon. Richard Buenavista, Vice Mayor; SB Sheen Jumbas; Hon. Gloria Lerona, Barangay Captain; Hon. Ronald Cirilo, Barangay Committee on Education; Hon. Ryan Cirilo; and PTA President, Mrs. Genesa C. Laurente. Your presence and support truly made the occasion more special.

We also express our heartfelt appreciation to our medal donors whose generosity helped recognize the achievements of our learners: Hon. Mayor Leodegario A. Labao Jr., SB Ann Labao, SB Fatima Trajano, SB Catherine Launio, and SB John Laurilla.

To our parents, guardians, and teachers—thank you for your unwavering guidance and support in shaping our learners into individuals prepared to lead with competence and character.

Congratulations to all our awardees! May this recognition serve as a stepping stone toward greater achievements and brighter futures.

We are truly grateful to our inspiring guest speaker, Ms. Jofel C. Ponce, alumna of Batch 2008 and a proud Registered Agriculturist, for taking the time to share her stories, experiences, and heartfelt words with our completers and graduates of Batch 2026.

Her message was simple but powerful — “Padayon kag maghugod lang sa pagtuon.” It reminded our pupils that success doesn’t come from dreams alone, but through hard work, perseverance, and dedication. Even small steps and sacrifices, when done consistently, can lead to a brighter future.

This message perfectly reflects this year’s theme. Our graduates are encouraged to move forward as young Filipino leaders — ready to face challenges with competence, guided by strong character, and committed to making a positive difference in their communities.

We sincerely thank our confirming officer, Ma’am Violeta D. Lata, Head Teacher III of Baye Elementary School, for officially confirming the moving-up and graduation of our pupils, ensuring that this milestone was recognized with proper authority and significance.

We are equally honored by the presence of Sir Narciso C. Falsario, Jr., EdD, Principal IV of Bula Integrated School, who read the inspiring message of the DepEd Secretary, adding prestige and meaning to this special occasion.

We also express our appreciation to Mrs. Genesa Laurente, our School PTA President, for her unwavering support and for celebrating this occasion with us, highlighting the strong partnership between the school and our parent community.

To our dear Batch 2026 graduates — Padayon! 🎓✨ Your journey as capable and character-driven leaders begins today!

Brotherhood Lunch: Langkay, Kawan, and Boy Scouts Unite! 🤝

As Lord Robert Baden-Powell once said,

“The uniform makes for brotherhood, since when universally adopted it covers up all differences of class and country.”

At our school-based Backyard Encampment, we brought this spirit to life with a boodle fight Kamayan-style. It wasn’t just about sharing food—it was about celebrating unity and the bonds we share as Scouts.

These moments remind us of the true essence of Scouting, where we come together, no matter our differences, to build lasting memories and live by the values of the Scout Oath and Law.

After an amazing time at our school-based Backyard Encampment, our Scouts gathered for a truly heartwarming Brotherhood Lunch! This is always one of the most anticipated moments in Scouting, and this year was no exception – filled with laughter, great stories, and a genuine sense of community.

Sharing a meal kamayan-style, we celebrated unity, equality, and the bonds that make Scouting so special. It was a beautiful reminder of the values from the Scout Oath and Law, where moments like these truly bring us all together.
