Municipal Local Government of Manay conducts tree planting activity at the Municipal Sanitary Landfill in Sitio Caatupan, Purok 25 (Crossing Bagsak) Barangay Central in support to the Provincial Tree Planting Day.

MENRO - MDRRMO - MIO employees participated in planting Mahogany seedlings in an effort to raise environmental protection awareness.

The activity in an advocacy on the importance of tree planting and serve as an inspiration to the entire community to be committed in the advocacy for a sustainable environment for future generations.

Kompirmado kini nga ang patayng lawas mao si JAIME MAIMAD MATILAC, 55 nga lumulupyo sa Purok Malinawon Dos, Barangay Matiao, City of Mati matud pa sa iyang anak nga Jeperson Matilac ug asawa nga si Mernalyn Casagda Matilac.

Matud pa sa anak nga na personal interview sa opisina sa MDRRMO Manay nakigsabot ang iyang Papa sa iyang bayaw nga Si Bernebal Casagda nga taga Purok Napo, Zaragoza aron manglaya sa Casauman River.

Mismo ang Punong Barangay sa Zaragoza ang nanawag sa MDRRMO ug kapulisan human siya gipahibawo sa mga molupyo sa maong lugar bahin sa nakitang patay nga lawas.

Gihulagway sa taga MDRRMO nga ang biktima gibana-banang nagpangedaron ug 45 hangtud 55 anyos ug dunay gitas-on nga 5'2", nakasul-ob lamang ug kolor brown nga short ug walay sinina.

Ang patay nga lawas naa karon sa Local Funeral Parlor sa Bato, Central, Manay. ‼️

‼️10 BARANGAYS OF MANAY DECLARED AS DRUG FREE‼️

The Regional Oversight Committee, which is chaired by PDEA, is composed of RD/ARDs of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), the Philippine National Police (PNP), Department of Health (DOH) and LGUs.

"Our barangays have become self-reliant and they developed self-policing in their communities. This means they are always on watch and are always monitoring possible illegal drug activities that are reported in their barangays,”Mayor JAPHET M. QUIBO, MADAC Chairman said.

Before declaring that a barangay is free from illegal drug activities, the committee must convene and validate the non-availability of drug supply in the area and the absence of drug transit activity, clandestine drug laboratory, and chemical warehouse, ma*****na cultivation site, drug den, drug pusher, and user.
