The Municipal Engineering Office informs all concessionaires of the Manay Waterworks System that due to the recent shear line and continuous heavy rainfall, flooding has caused damage to the water pipelines connected to both Magsuhi Source 1 and Magsuhi Source 2, particularly the sections traversing the Manay River.

Because of this damage, normal water supply distribution has been disrupted.

At present, Engineering personnel are unable to conduct repair works due to ongoing flooding, which pose safety risks and prevent access to the damaged pipeline sections. Repair operations will commence immediately once floodwaters subside and conditions are deemed safe for personnel and equipment.

We ask for your patience and understanding as we work to restore normal water service at the soonest possible time.

Alang sa kasayuran sa tanan, ang Local Government Unit of Manay magpa-tuman ug Business One-Stop-Shop 2026 para sa mas epektibo ug mas dali ang pagkuha ug Business Permit ug Occupational or Working Permit. Kini nga program magsugod January 5 hangtud January 20, 2026 didto sa Manay Municipal Gymnasium.

The road along Manay Baywalk is now passable as the fallen posts that were blocking the road earlier had already been cleared. The public is still urged to pass with caution as clearing of the Baywalk area is still ongoing.

The PUBLIC is advised to refrain from going near the Baywalk Stage, which has been damaged due to strong winds today. For everyone’s safety, please keep a safe distance from the affected section. Also, the road along Purok 9 (infront of Manay Baywalk) is temporarily CLOSED for vehicles until the area is cleared.

The Municipal Engineering Office, together with the Provincial Engineering Office, will be assessing the damage and securing the area to prevent any accidents and for the possible repair/rehabilitation. 🚧

Please be advised that certain portions of the road along Culibao, Crossing Buawan, and Sitio Butayan are DAMAGED, triggered by the effect of the doublet earthquake last October. The public are urged to stay alert, take extra caution, and slow down/reduce speed while passing through the area. 🚧
