The POLLUTION CONTROL ASSOCIATION OF THE PHILIPPINES, INC. (PCAPI) – NATIONAL is a recognized training organization pursuant to Section 13 of the DAO 2014-02 Revised Guidelines for Pollution Control Officer Accreditation with Certificate of Recognition COR No. 2026-19-R, that will offer the 40-hours training for Pollution Control Officers.

In relation to this, PCAPI NATIONAL, in collaboration with the DENR-EMB is conducting the 40 HOURS BASIC POLLUTION CONTROL OFFICERS TRAINING COURSE required for newly designated Pollution Control Officers (PCOs) as provided in the DAO 2014-02 Revised Guidelines for Pollution Control Officer Accreditation.

The Basic PCO Training Course is scheduled on SEPTEMBER 21-25, 2026, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (5 days) at the PCAPI Training Room, Cityland Pioneer, Pioneer St., Mandaluyong City. Participants will be limited to forty (40) only and a minimum of thirty (30) paid participants to proceed with the training. Reservations, therefore, will be on a first-come-first-served basis.

The training fee is P13,500 per participant. Active Lifetime and Institutional members can avail of the discounted rate of P12,500 per participant. The above-mentioned rates are inclusive of meals, Certificate of Completion and soft copies (pdf) of presentation materials. The deadline for reservations is until slots are available.

As preparations intensify for the 𝖨𝗇𝗍𝖾𝗋𝗇𝖺𝗍𝗂𝗈𝗇𝖺𝗅 𝖢𝗈𝖺𝗌𝗍𝖺𝗅 𝖢𝗅𝖾𝖺𝗇𝗎𝗉 on September 12, 2026, the Pollution Control Association of the Philippines, Inc. (PCAPI), under the leadership of Ms. Luzviminda Angeles, continues to champion meaningful environmental action through strong industry and community partnerships.

In collaboration with the Samahan sa Pilipinas ng mga Industriyang Kimika (S**K), headed by Engr. Gretchen F. Enarle, S**K Director of the ESG Committee, together with S**K members Philippine Prosperity Chemicals, Inc. and Coastal Bay Chemicals Inc., PCAPI is spearheading a coordinated coastal cleanup initiative.

The effort brings together Batangueño STAR Port Services for logistics, equipment, and manpower; MENRO Bauan and the Philippine Coast Guard for environmental monitoring and compliance; and the LGU of San Miguel for community engagement and awareness.
