KAISA KA

KAISA KA KAISA KA is a national federation of women working for the liberation of Filipino women from patriarchy, national and class oppression.

It is affiliated with the KILUSAN ( short for Kilusan Para sa Pambansang Demokrasya). Since its inception in 1998, KAISA KA has been advancing the rights and welfare of Filipino women who are usually in the periphery of development and most often, the victims of natural and man-made disasters, economic crisis and militarism fomented by globalization. Women from various sectors—peasants, workers,

students, urban poor and indigenous people—have formed KAISA KA chapters in different regions and provinces throughout the Philippines. Filipino women now believe that, armed with information, analytical skills and readiness to work, they can be empowered to address their situation collectively.

This Women’s Day, we rise not just to celebrate, but to fight back.
📢 No more stolen billions.
📢 No more fake “security” that builds bases instead of schools.
📢 No more poverty trapping women and youth in dead-end futures.

We are not victims. We are game-changers, truth-tellers, and fighters for justice. 💥
Together, let’s break the cycle of corruption and militarization.

PAHAYAG NG KAISA KA
Hinggil sa Executive Order No. 110 (National Energy Emergency)
Stop treating crisis management as business as usual—time for justice, accountability, and change.

HUSTISYA, HINDI AYUDA

The CHR is right: the Malaya Lolas deserve full reparation—recognition, apology, compensation.

But let’s be clear.

Matagal na nating alam ‘yan.
Ang kulang—gobyernong kikilos.

For decades, the Malaya Lolas have waited.
What did they get?

👉 Welfare programs
👉 Piecemeal assistance
👉 Endless “recommendations”

Hindi ito sapat.

Welfare is not justice.
Ayuda is not reparation.

Only a few of the Lolas remain alive.

And let’s not pretend memory is intact:

❗ Bahay na Pula—napabayaan
❗ Comfort women memorial—tinanggal

That is not forgetfulness. That is erasure.

KAISA KA demands:

✔️ Official State apology
✔️ Dedicated reparations fund
✔️ Full medical and financial support NOW
✔️ Preservation of historical sites
✔️ A single agency accountable—hindi yung pasa-pasa

Let’s say this without fear:

The Philippine State already knows what to do.
It just hasn’t chosen to do it.

Hindi ito simpleng isyu ng kababaihan.
Isyu ito ng hustisya. Isyu ito ng dangal ng bayan.

The Malaya Lolas do not need another policy paper.
They need justice—now.
