𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗡𝗔𝗡! | 𝗨𝗡𝗔𝗡𝗚 𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗪 𝗡𝗚 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗢𝗡 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗘𝗙𝗙𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗦𝗦 𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗜𝗖𝗘 (𝗣𝗘𝗦) 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗠 𝗙𝗔𝗖𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗦, 𝗜𝗦𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗚𝗔𝗪𝗔

Pormal nang sinimulan ngayong araw sa Mandaluyong City Protection Center ang limang (5) araw na Training on Parent Effectiveness Service (PES) Program Facilitators na dinaluhan ng mga Barangay Council for the Protection of Children (BCPC) Focal Persons, Violence Against Women and Children (VAWC) Desk Officers, mga miyembro ng Local Council for the Protection of Children (LCPC), at mga kawani ng City Social Welfare and Development Department (CSWDD) ng Mandaluyong.

Sa pamamagitan ng City Social Welfare and Development Department (CSWDD) at Gender and Development (GAD) Department, layunin ng pagsasanay na higit pang palakasin ang kaalaman, kakayahan, at kahandaan ng mga kalahok bilang mga Parent Effectiveness Service (PES) Facilitators upang mas epektibong maitaguyod ang responsableng pagiging magulang, positibong pagpapalaki ng mga anak, at pagpapatatag ng pamilyang Mandaleño.

Patunay ang gawaing ito ng patuloy na pangako ng Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Mandaluyong na maghatid ng mga programang nagpapalakas sa institusyon ng pamilya, nagtataguyod ng karapatan at kapakanan ng mga bata, at bumubuo ng mas ligtas, mas inklusibo, at mas matatag na komunidad para sa lahat.

Magandang araw po.

Nauunawaan po namin ang saloobin at mga hinaing ng ating mga benepisyaryong solo parent.

Nais po naming ipabatid na kasalukuyan nang isinasagawa sa ilang barangay ang pamamahagi ng cash subsidy para sa mga kwalipikadong solo parent.

Makaaasa po kayo na ang CSWDD – Solo Parent Office, katuwang ang Pamahalaang Lungsod, ay patuloy na nagsisikap upang maihatid ang mga programang tulong at benepisyo para sa ating mga Mandaleñong solo parent.

Maraming salamat po sa inyong pang-unawa at patuloy na pakikiisa.

Patuloy na matagumpay na naisagawa ang Orientation on KALIPI, Safe Spaces Act, at Child Custody sa Barangay Mauway. Naging makabuluhan ang talakayan sa pagpapalawak ng kaalaman ng mga kalahok tungkol sa mga karapatan at proteksyong nakapaloob sa mga programang pangkababaihan, pagtataguyod ng ligtas na espasyo laban sa anumang uri ng pang-aabuso, at mga usaping may kaugnayan sa pangangalaga at kustodiya ng mga bata.

Lubos ang aming pasasalamat sa lahat ng mga kalahok sa kanilang aktibong pakikilahok at suporta sa programa. Taos-puso rin kaming nagpapasalamat sa pamunuan ng Barangay Mauway sa kanilang pakikipagtulungan upang maging matagumpay ang nasabing aktibidad.

𝗖𝗔𝗣𝗔𝗕𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗗𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗟𝗢𝗣𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗔 𝗦𝗔 𝗠𝗚𝗔 𝗞𝗔𝗪𝗔𝗡𝗜 𝗔𝗧 𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗙𝗙 𝗡𝗚 𝗦𝗢𝗟𝗢 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗢𝗙𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗘, 𝗜𝗦𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗚𝗔𝗪𝗔

Matagumpay na isinagawa ng City Social Welfare and Development Department (CSWDD) Mandaluyong, sa pamamagitan ng Solo Parent Office (SPO), ang Capability Development Training for Solo Parent Office (SPO) Personnel and Support Staff cm Program Implementation Review nitong Mayo 28–29, 2026 sa Mandaluyong City.

Layunin ng pagsasanay na higit pang palakasin ang kaalaman, kasanayan, at propesyonalismo ng mga kawani at support staff ng Solo Parent Office sa pagbibigay ng de-kalidad, maagap, at makataong serbisyo sa mga solo parent ng lungsod. Kabilang sa mga tinalakay ang Republic Act No. 11861 o ang Expanded Solo Parents Welfare Act, mga prinsipyo at pamamaraan ng case interviewing, work ethics at professionalism sa serbisyo publiko, at mental health at psychosocial well-being sa workplace.

Kasabay nito, isinagawa rin ang Program Implementation Review upang suriin ang kasalukuyang pagpapatupad ng mga programa, proyekto, at serbisyo ng Solo Parent Office, tukuyin ang mga hamon at oportunidad para sa pagpapabuti, at bumuo ng mga rekomendasyon tungo sa mas epektibo at mas inklusibong serbisyo para sa mga solo parent ng Mandaluyong.

Patuloy na nagsusumikap ang Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Mandaluyong, sa pamamagitan ng CSWDD at Solo Parent Office, na palakasin ang kapasidad ng mga kawani nito upang matiyak na ang bawat solo parent ay nakatatanggap ng nararapat na suporta, serbisyo, at oportunidad para sa mas maayos na pamumuhay.

Isinagawa noong May 21, 2026, ang Sustainable LiveliTalks Masterclass on Basic Bookkeeping, Inventory Management, and Customer Service Management para sa mga miyembro ng iba’t ibang Sustainable Livelihood Program Associations (SLPA), na ginanap sa Mandaluyong City Protection Center.

Pinangunahan ang nasabing aktibidad ng DSWD Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) katuwang ang City Social Welfare and Development Department (CSWDD) Mandaluyong, sa patuloy na suporta ng Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Mandaluyong, upang higit pang mapalawak ang kaalaman at kakayahan ng mga benepisyaryo sa wastong pamamahala ng kanilang kabuhayan at maliliit na negosyo.

Layunin ng masterclass na mabigyan ang mga kalahok ng sapat na kaalaman sa basic bookkeeping, inventory management, at customer service management bilang paghahanda tungo sa mas matatag, maayos, at sustainable na pagkakakitaan para sa kanilang pamilya at komunidad.

The City Social Welfare and Development Department (CSWDD) successfully conducted the KALIPI (Kalipunan ng Liping Pilipina) Orientation on May 22, 2026, at Barangay Hulo, Mandaluyong City.

The activity aimed to orient and encourage women in the community to actively participate in programs and initiatives that promote women empowerment, leadership, and community involvement.

The CSWDD, in coordination with the Mandaluyong Council for the Protection of Children, successfully conducted the seminar titled “Restorative Justice in Action: Repairing Harm and Reintegration” on May 7, 2026, at the Mandaluyong City Protection Center.

This activity aimed to equip center houseparents and BCPC staff with valuable knowledge and practical insights on restorative justice approaches and reintegration strategies for our CICL clientele.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our resource speakers for generously sharing their expertise, experiences, and meaningful contributions to the success of this seminar.

The City Government of Mandaluyong, through the City Social Welfare and Development Department (CSWDD) in coordination with the City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Department (CDRRMD), successfully conducted the 3-days training entitled “Strengthening Emergency Response: Psychological First Aid (PFA) Training for CSWDD–Mandaluyong City Service Providers” held on May 5–7, 2026 at the 5th Floor, CDRRMD Building, Brgy. Mauway, Mandaluyong City.

This activity enhanced the knowledge, skills, and readiness of service providers in delivering psychological first aid during emergencies and crisis situations.

We would like to thank the Thrive Center for Psychology for sharing their expertise and valuable experiences throughout the training. It was truly an amazing and meaningful learning experience for everyone involved.

We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to our City Mayor Menchie Abalos for her full support of the programs and services of the department, especially in strengthening the capability of our service providers for the welfare of the Mandaleños.
