Last Saturday, our firefighters of the Barangay Fire & Rescue Bridge (BFRB) defended our position and once again secured Overall First Runner Up during the 21st Mandaluyong City Inter-barangay Fire Olympics.

The Fire Olympics brings together the barangay fire brigades of Mandaluyong City in a competition of skill and endurance. Our firefighters trained hard, played hard, and won hard.

From our muse, to our teams, to our coach and training officers, we are all proud of you! Always strive for excellence. 🥈🧑‍🚒🔥

Saving all lives.

Last Friday, March 6, our barangay firefighters provided mutual aid assistance on a large fire at Brgy. Pinyahon, Quezon City.

In addition to providing much needed water supply and firefighting, our firefighters also managed to rescue a cat trapped near the fire. Using our Wag'N O2 Fur Life pet oxygen mask kit, we provided treatment to the cat, named NIO.

NIO will be medically assessed by our partner veterinary clinic and will also be vaccinated and neutered.

Once healthy and if no claims are made, NIO will be placed up for adoption.

Barangay Wack-Wack Greenhills East values all lives as we strive to become a resilient barangay and good neighbor to our fellow countrymen.

For this Love Month, we decided to open our hearts to the KUKUMUTAN KITA Project, a joint project of Barangay Wack-Wack Greenhills East
and the Dagdag Dunong Reading Center of Baco, Mindoro.

Through the kind efforts of Ms. Ana Maria Bacudio, we were able to donate 500 warm blankets to young children (2-10 yo); lactating mothers (14-40 yo); and several senior citizens
who were in need of warmth due to the colder temperatures.

All beneficiaries were from the ff. Sitios in Baco, Oriental Mindoro:
Sitio Linao, Sitio Bayanan, Sitio Katarata, Sitio Nalbot, Sitio Tagumpay and Sitio Calamansian.
