Calling all youth and sports enthusiasts of Barangay Jagobiao! As part of our Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 celebration, Sangguniang Kabataan Jagobiao invites you to hit the court, show off your skills, and represent our barangay!
Whether you are competing in the Mixed Doubles Tournament or playing for fun in our Open Play, get ready for an exciting night of action!

📋 TOURNAMENT GUIDELINES & MECHANICS
1. Age Eligibility & Categories
Mixed Doubles Tournament: Open strictly to youth participants aged 15 to 30 years old.
Open Play: Open to all ages! Everyone is welcome to try out and enjoy the sport.
2. Participation & Format
Format: Single Elimination format.
Sitio Representation: Open to all 16 Sitios, with each Sitio allowed to field one (1) Doubles Team.
3. Match Format
Elimination Round & Quarterfinals: Rally Scoring to 11 points. At 10–10, next point wins (Sudden Death).
Semifinals: Rally Scoring to 11 points. At 10–10, play continues until one team gains a 2-point lead (Slide 2, once).
Championship Match: Rally Scoring to 15 points. At 14–14, play continues until one team gains a 2-point lead (Slide 2, once).
4. Time Limit
Maximum time limit of 15 minutes per match.
If time expires, the team with the higher score wins. If tied when time expires, play continues until a 2-point advantage is reached.
5. General Rules
Matches follow official USA Pickleball Rules, except where modified by the Tournament Committee.
Serves must be underhand and directed diagonally into the opponent's service court.
The Double Bounce Rule will be strictly enforced.
No volleying while standing inside the Non-Volley Zone (Kitchen).
Balls landing on boundary lines are IN, except for serves landing on the Kitchen Line, which are OUT.
A strict 5-minute grace period will be applied for scheduled matches. Defaulting rules apply for late arrivals.
Standard sportsmanship is expected. Decisions of the Tournament Director and Referees are final and binding.
🚌 TRANSPORTATION NOTICE
Mixed Doubles Participants: Transportation will be provided for all official tournament players.
Open Play Participants: Transportation is at the discretion/own arrangement of Jagobiao pickleball enthusiasts attending the open play.
