A productive and meaningful day as the City of Mandaue continues its journey toward becoming a smarter and more sustainable city!
The day started with the Launching of the Smart and Sustainable Communities Program (SSCP), followed by the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) Signing with the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) for two transformative initiatives: the STARBOOKS Project, which expands access to science, technology, and educational resources, and the Digital Twin Project, which will strengthen data-driven planning, decision-making, and sustainable urban development in the city.
In the afternoon, stakeholders participated in the Comprehensive Development Plan (CDP) Validation and the Revisiting of the CDP’s Vision, ensuring that Mandaue City's long-term development strategies remain aligned with the aspirations and needs of its people. These milestones demonstrate the power of collaboration and innovation in shaping a more resilient, inclusive, and future-ready Mandaue City.

The Local Zoning Board of Appeals (LZBA) convened its regular meeting to deliberate on various zoning applications submitted for the board's review.

During the meeting, board members discussed each application in accordance with existing zoning regulations and considered the merits of the requests before making their respective recommendations and decisions.

The City Planning and Development Office successfully conducted the Comprehensive Development Plan (CDP) Updating and Review – Sectoral Consultation, bringing together key offices and stakeholders to align priorities, assess current programs, and identify strategic interventions for the city's future.

A key agenda of the activity was the presentation and discussion of One Mandaue R.I.S.E., reinforcing the city's shared vision of a Resilient, Innovative, Sustainable, and Empowered Mandaue. Through collaborative planning and evidence-based decision-making, we continue to strengthen development strategies that are responsive to the needs of every Mandauanon.

Together, we are shaping a more resilient, inclusive, and future-ready Mandaue City.

As part of the Smart and Sustainable Communities Program (SSCP), the City Government of Mandaue, through the City Planning and Development Office (CPDO), Office of Strategy Management (OSM), and General Services Office (GSO), convened with the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) and LogiTrak Solutions Corp. to discuss the potential adoption of the LogiTrak Smart Logistics and Fleet Management System.
A key initiative under the SSCP, LogiTrak is an innovative platform that leverages IoT-enabled technologies and data-driven solutions to improve the monitoring, tracking, and management of logistics and fleet operations. The system supports DOST's thrust on digital transformation, smart mobility, and evidence-based governance, offering opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, resource management, and public service delivery.

The discussion reflects Mandaue City's continuing commitment to harnessing smart technologies and innovative solutions in building a more efficient, sustainable, and future-ready city.

The Project Management Committee (PMC) successfully convened its 2nd Quarter Meeting to assess the progress and implementation of priority programs and infrastructure projects. Discussions focused on the Project Procurement Status, Project POWE and Implementation Status, Disbursement Status, the 20% Development Fund CY 2023–2026 and other Infrastructure Projects, the List of Projects to be Monitored by the RPMC, and the Status of the Green Green Green Project.

The meeting reaffirmed the committee's commitment to transparency, accountability, and the timely delivery of quality projects that support sustainable community development.

Building a stronger and more progressive Mandaue City through collaborative planning and strategic development.

The City Development Council (CDC) Full Council Meeting convened to discuss and approve key initiatives, including the Supplemental Investment Program No. 3 for CY 2026, as well as the proposed DPWH infrastructure projects and flyover developments aimed at improving mobility, traffic management, public services, and community facilities across the city.

Together with barangay leaders, stakeholders, partner agencies, and community representatives, Mandaue City continues to work toward sustainable and people-centered development for every Mandauehanon.
