REOPENING OF FOODLAND FLYOVER TO MOTORCYCLES

Effective today, 6 August 2026, starting at 8:00AM, the Foodland Flyover is open to motorcycles traveling in both northbound and southbound directions.

โš ๏ธ STRICTLY NO OVERTAKING ON THE FLYOVER.

For everyoneโ€™s safety, all motorcycle riders are reminded to:

* Maintain your lane at all times.
* Observe the No Overtaking policy.
* Follow all traffic signs and the directions of CCTO personnel.

This measure is part of the ongoing implementation of the Discipline Zone, promoting safer and more orderly roads for all.

To ensure the safety of athletes and the smooth conduct of IRONMAN 70.3 Lapu-Lapu Cebu, temporary road closures and traffic rerouting will be implemented across Lapu-Lapu City, Cordova, Cebu City, CCLEX, and Talisay City.

PAGASA TROPICAL CYCLONE WATCH

As of 2:00 PM today, 02 August 2026, Tropical Depression "LUIS" (formerly LPA 07f) is being monitored inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

Meanwhile, Typhoon "DOLPHIN" is being monitored within the Tropical Cyclone Information Domain (TCID) of PAGASA.

All are advised to monitor updates from DOST-PAGASA.

The above conditions are being experienced over (Consolacion, MandaueCity, LapuLapuCity, Cordova, CebuCity, Liloan, Compostela), which may persist within 1 to 2 hours and may affect nearby areas.
