𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐄𝐅𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐖𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐒 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐏𝐄𝐄𝐑 𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐏𝐎𝐑𝐓

The Bureau of Fire Protection Region 7, under the leadership of 𝐅𝐂𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐑𝐎𝐃𝐎𝐋𝐅𝐎 𝐏 𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐀𝐆𝐀, 𝐃𝐒𝐂, Regional Director, together with the personnel of the Mandaue City Fire Station led by 𝐅𝐂𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐀𝐋𝐕𝐈𝐍 𝐀. 𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐎𝐍, City Fire Marshal, successfully completed the second round of the 3-Day Firefighter Wellness and Peer Support Program held at the Mandani Bay Show Gallery.

Through a meaningful series of lectures, interactive discussions, and one-on-one personality and self-awareness sessions, the participating personnel gained deeper insights into themselves and a better understanding of the people they serve alongside.

Special appreciation is extended to the dedicated mentors and facilitators of Kauban Psychological Center, Inc., whose expertise, guidance, and genuine commitment made this learning experience meaningful. Their efforts are helping shape a stronger culture of compassion, understanding, and peer support within the fire service.

This group of trained personnel will soon take on a meaningful role in the establishment and operation of the 𝐊𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐀𝐍𝐆 𝐁𝐔𝐌𝐁𝐄𝐑𝐎: 𝐖𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐒 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐋𝐓𝐇 𝐑𝐎𝐎𝐌 at Mandaue City Fire Station.

The Bureau of Fire Protection Central Visayas, under the leadership of 𝐅𝐂𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐑𝐎𝐃𝐎𝐋𝐅𝐎 𝐏 𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐀𝐆𝐀, 𝐃𝐒𝐂, Regional Director, together with the EMS personnel of BFP Mandaue City Fire Station, under the guidance of 𝐅𝐂𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐀𝐋𝐕𝐈𝐍 𝐀 𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐎𝐍, City Fire Marshal, conducted a skills enhancement activity on the proper use of a portable Mechanical Chest Compression Device designed to deliver automated, high quality cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

The activity focused on strengthening the personnel’s knowledge and practical skills in the safe and proper operation of the ACCD, ensuring that EMS responders are prepared to provide timely and appropriate intervention during cardiac emergencies.

Through continuous skills enhancement and hands-on training, BFP Mandaue City Fire Station strengthens its emergency response capabilities and readiness to provide immediate assistance when every second matters.

Their participation made the session a meaningful learning experience, while providing them with knowledge they can carry into their future careers.
