Today, August 14, 2026, our office, headed by our ever-dynamic Executive Assistant for Cooperative Affairs, Dr. Emedio “Emy” Bustillo, gathered at Fairfield by Marriott Cebu for a productive day of office planning, strengthening employee relations, and aligning our goals and priorities.

The activity also continued yesterday’s session on Emotional Resilience: Building Strong Relationships, with emphasis on the practical application of the lessons and insights gained in our workplace and daily interactions✨

Another meaningful and successful activity of the Mandaue City Cooperative Development Office was held today, August 13, 2026, at Fairfield by Marriott Cebu, Mandaue City. ✨

Through “Emotional Resilience: Building Strong Relationships,” our employees gained valuable insights on strengthening emotional resilience, protecting mental well-being, and building healthier relationships both in the workplace and in everyday life 🫶

Our heartfelt thanks to our resource speakers from Mandaue City Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Office, Mr. Calvin Keith M. Calvadores, MA, RPsy, Executive Assistant for Mental Health and Substance Abuse Affairs, and Mr. Sean Seno, for sharing their time, expertise, and meaningful insights with our participants. 💙

Please be advised that the Mandaue City Cooperative Development Office will be out of the office tomorrow, August 4, 2026 (Tuesday), as our personnel will be attending the Basic Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Concept, First Aid, and Basic Life Support Training at the Kabuhayan Center.

A successful 2-Day Seminar on Cooperative Governance and Management was held last July 16–17, 2026 at the MCCDO Kabuhayan Center with Dr. Emedio “Emy” Bustillo serving as the Resource Person.

Together, we continue to build stronger leaders, better governance, and more resilient cooperatives💪🤝

ATM | Orientation on the Duties, Responsibilities, and Functions of Officers of the Mandaue City Public School Teachers and Employees Multipurpose Cooperative (MCPSTEMPC).

This orientation aims to equip cooperative officers with a deeper understanding of their roles, responsibilities, and functions in promoting effective governance, accountability, and sustainable cooperative management. Through this activity, officers are empowered to uphold the principles and values of cooperativism while delivering quality service to their members and ensuring the continued growth and success of their cooperative.

The orientation is being conducted by Dr. Emy Bustillo Executive Assistant for Cooperative Affairs, who is sharing his expertise and insights on cooperative leadership, governance, and the vital roles and responsibilities of cooperative officers in building strong and sustainable cooperatives.

We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to City Mayor Jonkie Ouano and Congresswoman Emmarie "Lolypop" Ouano-Dizon for their unwavering support and steadfast commitment to strengthening the cooperative movement in Mandaue City. The Mandaue City Cooperative Development Office (MCCDO), together with our partner cooperatives, proudly joined the Quad-City Mangrove Planting and Clean-Up Drive in celebration of the International Day of Cooperatives 2026.

This year’s theme, “Cooperatives for a Peaceful World,” reminds us that through unity, volunteerism, and concern for the environment, we can create stronger and more sustainable communities 🌿🤝
