Under 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐀𝐜𝐭 𝟕𝟓𝟖𝟏, 𝐚𝐥𝐬𝐨 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐀𝐜𝐭, a mandatory 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐳𝐞 is automatically imposed on basic necessities in any area declared under a state of calamity.

Hence, a mandatory price freeze is imposed on basic necessities in affected areas in the province of Pangasinan.

𝐀𝐥𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐬, 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬 𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐚 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐬. This price freeze is automatically effective for 60 days, unless lifted earlier by the President.

This directive follows the official State of Calamity declaration issued by Local Government Units in the province of Pangasinan to ensure price stability and protect consumers during this critical period.
