Under the new DepEd policy, eligible learners in Grades 4–12 who achieve a General Average of 90 and above, with no grade below 80 and no disciplinary record, will receive the Academic Excellence Award.

✅ No distinction among awardees
✅ No ranking based on grades
✅ Names arranged alphabetically

The policy shifts the focus from competition and labels to recognizing academic achievement fairly and equally among learners.
