Mangatarem National High School proudly produced 863 senior high school graduates who received their hard-earned diploma during the Graduation Rites held on March 31, 2026 at the MNHS Covered Hall, anchored on the theme: "Filipino Graduates: Prepared to Lead with Competence and Character".
Dr. Elvira C. Viray, Principal IV, formally opened the ceremony with her inspiring opening remarks. Subsequently, she presented the then candidates for graduation who satisfactorily completed the requirements set forth by the Department of Education under the K to 12 Curriculum. This was followed the confirmation of graduates by Fatima R. Boado, CESO V, Schools Division Superintendent.
The event was further honored by the presence of Hon. Jensen F. Viray, Municipal Mayor of Mangatarem, who delivered an inspiring message highlighting the vital role of youth in nation-building.
Serving as this year's Guest of Honor and Speaker, Ms. Angeline C. Alamillo of MNHS Class 1988, and now an accomplished operating room nurse at the University Hospital in New Jersey, USA, encouraged the graduates to carry forward the knowledge and values they have gained from their Alma Mater and to use these in meaningful service to the people.
On behalf of SPTA Pres. Lanie Rose S. Lorena, Mr. Ronaldo M. Puma, a member of the SPTA Board of Directors, extended warm greetings to all graduates. He underscored that excellence could lead us to greater heights, but our character keeps us there. All SPTA Officers were awarded a certificate in recognition to their invaluable service this school year, leading to the success of several programs and activities of the school.
Hadi Clementine C. Soria, who awarded the academic distinction with highest honors and garnered the highest general average among the graduates, delivered his farewell message. Allisa A. Bermundo, who also graduated with highest honors, led the Pledge of Honor to the Alma Mater.
The ceremony concluded with a closing remarks from Dr. Cristopher Reymond S. Castillo, HT-VI of the Science Department and OIC of the Senior High School Department.
