The implementation of the Day 1 of ARAL Reading and ARAL Math Program at Olo Elementary School marked a promising and organized start toward strengthening learners’ foundational skills in literacy and numeracy.
The activity officially commenced with enthusiasm and readiness among both learners and tutors. Four dedicated tutors facilitated the sessions, each equipped with the necessary materials and guided by structured lesson plans to ensure meaningful and engaging learning experiences. The learners actively participated in the reading and math activities, showing eagerness to improve their comprehension, fluency, and problem-solving skills.
ARAL Reading sessions focused on enhancing learners’ decoding skills, vocabulary development, and reading comprehension through guided and interactive exercises. Meanwhile, ARAL Math sessions provided opportunities for learners to revisit fundamental concepts, practice basic operations, and build confidence in solving mathematical problems.
The smooth implementation of the program was made possible under the close monitoring and leadership of Dr. Maria Clarisse B. Cuaresma, who ensured that all tutors were well-prepared and that the learning environment was conducive to effective instruction. Her guidance reinforced the commitment of the school to deliver quality intervention programs for learners.
Day 1 set a positive tone for the entire ARAL Program, highlighting collaboration, preparedness, and dedication among the school personnel. With continuous support and consistent implementation, the program is expected to significantly improve the academic performance of the learners of Olo Elementary School.
